Yet another sad attempt to create a public narrative that it's ok that Destiny 2 is garbage if you compare it to D1 vanilla.
Keep trying.
On top of that, we saw that the DLC is yet another polished turd. So Destiny 2 is a failure and we see that it's not getting better.

I could say the same for the first two dlc's for desriny 1. Honestly the only half decent thing thats ever happened to destiny as a whole has been the taken king
