To me the obvious fix would be to essentially give you a weapon frame and you apply the mods to make what you want . Just limit the variations a little so you don’t create beast weapons . That way multiple weapons aren’t USELESS , there is an element of crafting , a reason to chase mods ... I could go on . I feel like the old random rolls were a reason to keep coming back . I have 3000+ legendary marks , that suggests I’ve canned 1000 items . If only I could spend those marks on say...mods?

Good idea. The grind as much as we loathe it at times there doesnt seem a need in D2 as much. Bringing back old content, Mida, Akrams, Celestial etc why its been done already, seems far to lazy for me. Unless they are only releasing the fun stuff as part of the paid DLC’s. Iron banner again its been done, nothing seems new, the adventures are a new touch but only played 1 of them as didnt see the point. YYJ

Honestly if I hadn’t already paid for the dlc I wouldnt be buying it . Given I put a massive amount of hours into d1 that’s a pretty sad statement for me to make
