I havnt made a post in a long time. But I'm actually liking this new balance so far for d2. Only 1 person able to use the 1 hit kill special weapons at a time. Some say it's like halo, but hey halo was very well balanced. And there's still a big difference between halo and destiny. Bungee seems like they changed a lot to better balance out PvP. I'm a little concerned of pve, but I'm excited to have two primaries. Trials always seemed to be a a bunch of people camping or rushing with secondaries. 2 body shot sniping with no flinch. 1 hit sticky grenades. So many cheesy plays at your disposal. Those basically ran trials. So I'm happy. BUT there is one way that bungee can destroy all of this progress. And that is by introducing power weapon exotics that will be available to use in primary slots, or power weapons that recharge ammo over time. Please don't. If you do, let it be for pve only. You made a huge change in special ammo, that was completely negated by the existence of the ice breaker. Not only do you get special every round, but you have unlimited ammo. Same could be said for the uni, and mythoclast, but I rarely see them, but they should not be included either. Edit: fyi, I know they're not carrying over specific weapons to d2, I was using current guns as an example. So to clarify for people who didn't understand that, I don't think there should be any power weapon exotics in the kinetic or energy slots, and I don't think they should have any power weapons that regen ammo.... in PvP, or at least just trials. Edit 2: for those who don't agree with me, and or making hateful comments, that's fine. We have different opinions. It happens lol Tldr. All this new balancing for PvP will be completely useless if exotic power weapons can be used in primary slots. And trials will see the same fate as it has. Everyone will hate it in 1 year, except like 1% of the community, who just wants destiny to be a sniping game. I hope they have op fun weapons in pve that are not included in PvP because they'd be too strong.
