Why ruin the whole special ammo economy to fix shotguns?
I know it's been a month and a half, but I can still rant, right? Why couldn't Bungie have just lowered the impact just a tad on all shotguns rather than removing special ammo when you die? Because quite frankly, shotguns are sh*tguns now. But on the bright side, the primary weapons are finally able to compete with special weapons, don't forget the unneeded nerfs, RIP Bladedancer.

Literally all they had to do was remove the matador. Remember why Taken King meta was so good? All specials had power but there was no clear cut winner for weapons like shotguns. There was no Felwinter or Matador. For Snipers, there stopped being Her Benevolence and Shadow of Veils.

A nerf to just shotgun special ammo would be too harsh and plus specials were getting used more than bungie wanted

Pretty sure everyone at Bungie is on Meth, it's about the only thing that explains how they can be so bad at decision making.

Because shotguns where fine, in pre ttk, yet they decided 2 more nerf waves where necessary to make them as bad as primaries

Because Bungie has historically been known to be too lazy to precision-tweak weapons and instead releases blanket nerfs that kill everything within a 10-mile radius.

Don't forget about the Matador 64, I got killed more times by it than I would like to admit. Also, Party Crasher +1.
