Xür, weapons, Eververse and a line that is getting a lot harder to see
So I don't think I made my point I was trying to make with this. The point isn't that buying Zhalo is pay-to-win.
The point is that up until now, Eververse hasn't had anything to do with anything other than skins with weapons. By bundling weapons with ornaments and requiring Coins and Silverdust, it starts to get closer to the idea of just buying weapons in my opinion.
There is no reason that makes sense to me to sell these bundles when the ornaments are available on their own other than to push people to purchase from Eververse. Agree or disagree, I don't think there should be any connection to actual weapons and real world currency.

5 RepliesEdited by JFN: 4/1/2017 2:56:36 AMThe line definitely is thinning, we were lead to believe Eververse would only ever be purely cosmetic, now it is impacting actual progression, gameplay and in some aspects, balancing; simply because now you do get a chance at a very well rolled piece of gear, at the cost of real money. It is getting scary, I just purchased the Pre-order Digital Deluxe Edition for Destiny 2, for example, at £90 from the PSN Store. Which should be a reasonable price for a game expecting to last at least 3-4 years; and yet I know I am looking at spending almost double to triple that in Micro-transactions that Activision & Bungie will drill into us overtime (to exploit our love for progression). We as gamers should know to stop feeding these fat-cats, but our passions are abused.
