Good work everyone
You all whined and Bungie listened! You realize that almost every time this happens, things get worse.... Look at the new update. Nerfs across the board. Is that what you all wanted?
I'm not saying that everything was balanced beforehand, but now everything is a lot worse. What upsets me most is that PvE takes the most damage from these updates in order to "balance" a PvP experience which will NEVER BE BALANCED.
Being a veteran Destiny player whose loved this game since the Beta, I'm sad to say that I am extremely disappointed in Bungie and disgusted by the continual ungrateful behavior of the Destiny community.
Of course, there are many of us who have realized that things only get worse for PvE with each update and have pushed for more buffs and no more nerfs. To you Guardians, I thank you for your efforts. Hopefully Bungie will eventually realize that only the most pathetic and ungrateful players are the ones who call for nerfs after every update.

3 RepliesSee, normally I agree with posts like these, but no one asked for a blanket shotgun nerf, truth nerf, arcblade nerf, all the accidental health regen nerfs, suros nerf, quickdraw nerf, special ammo nerf, and the list goes on. The only things people really asked to be nerfed were lightning melee, jug shield, clever dragon and matador. And pretty much everyone unanimously asked to buff primaries. So no, they didn't get what they asked for. (I say they, because I never call for nerfs of any kind).

Well, let's nerf sidearms now while we are at it right? I so called it back in September after the sniper nerf, if they could nerf those they'll nerf everything else. That's why I left when the getting was still good

Pretty much the only thing that was asked for was to [b]buff[/b] primaries. The Truth nerf was just proof of how far they will go to prove how out of touch they are with their own game. Petty or not, that one is my primary reason for only playing Destiny if one of my friends ask for my help. I [i]loved[/i] this game, but I'm out of reasons to support changes made that can't be kept separate from PVP.

1 ReplyYou understand that the streamers are the ones who cries nerf the majority of the time and Bungie listens to them right? Not these forums and not Reddit! They may read some posts here and there but they don't listen to us they listen and react to streamers and their feelings only. This weeks TWAB proves this because they said they had mixed reviews for this patch with both negative and positive equally which was not true! The only people who had positives to say were all the streamers. They had no negative feedback for this patch and completely line up with Bungie's decisions! if you don't believe me go watch the Content Creators for Destiny and show me where they have one negative comment about the patch! Go! I dare you!

I've been playing on and off since the first week of vanilla.. and this patch is just sad.. the devs should be ashamed of themselves! They are an embarrassment to the gaming community! The fact that thy knew the patch was broken and still rolled it out is a testament to their true colors.. I believe one of two things .. 1-they rolled it out and figured we will address it if the player base notices it's broke or 2-they are only saying that they knew it was broken to save what little dignity they have left because in reality they are so inept at their jobs and do not even play this game or know how anything in the game works (this theory is enforced by the reveal stream) they didn't even know it was a bugged patch until the community started screaming . And now instead of saying "oh we didn't know it was broken" and look like even more complete idiots then they already do, they are telling us "yeah we knew it was broke and decided to roll it anyway to see how it plays" This is a -blam!-ing disgrace !!!

I really lost hope for the game. The weapon changes didn't do it for me, it's the healing perk glitch and Bungie's response as "eh screw it, lets leave it broken" Don't know why I'm still lurking around the forums. Maybe I'm hopeful that they will fix this soon but the pessimistic side of me doubts it.

I'm happy I can finally bring out my Three Little Words and actually kill people effectively with it. Feels great to be able to use it again :-)

Been playing since the beginning and this update is great.

I took a break from destiny about 2-3 weeks ago and I'm glad I did. The way this looks, I'm probably done playing. I'll keep checking in every so often to see how bad destiny is getting. It was fun while it lasted. It's really unfortunate because the game itself was a good concept.

Good post. This game is done. Leave it alone. A minor minor tweak is acceptable. But multiple impactful changes at once is sheer idiocy. And curious. Why Truth? Who ever complained about Truth? Exotic ONE SHOT MAG? oooooo very special

I have to agree with you about PVE taking the biggest hit in this update; I used to solo challenge of the elders with red death and it kept me alive, and today I went to play CoE and the red death perk only keeps your health up not your shields (the first round is taken cabal so it's a pain with no radar and taken cabal sneaking up on you and hitting you with the sniper range melees that make warlocks jealous).

No, you all whined and the sandbox just used that as an excuse to nerf this game because the sandbox literally doesn't play their own game.
