A fourth Hive entity?
So the majority of you reading this must already know about Oryx, Crota & Nokris from the pillars on the mission "Regicide". When you enter Oryx' room at the end of the mission there is a black pool where he dies in the cut-scene after you defeat him, look around edge of the pool and you'll notice carved pillars just like the ones that tell you about Nokris. The strange part is that there are 4 pillars not 3...
Perhaps this is a subtle hint that there may be a fourth Hive Prince or at least another important figure to the hive?
What are your thoughts?

1 ReplyNevermind that, can someone explain to me why there is a portal at the right hand side of the regicide room that looks like it was ripped out of Rasputin the warmind. It looks totally out of place and I have no idea why it's there.

Where's the one that tells you about Nokris? There's the one that talks about Alak-hul on the regicide mission but I'm unaware of one for Nokris.

The hive need to take a break at least for a whole year or about 3-4 DLC's I hate eris' voice and as far as I'm concerned we killed the hive king god, the prince, the "would be prince", the fanatic, the sword bearer, the gate keeper, the keeper of the will, the eye of oryx, the scion of oryx (flame prince) ultra knight, the hands, heart, and eyes of crota, and I'm sure I've missed at least 20 others... So please... PLEASE... for the love of god(s) let's be done with the damn hive...

You know what I've realized about The Hive?, that any idiot big enough and with a strong weapon can be King. We've already faced 2 who where way bellow Orix, yet where a treat just the same. I wouldn't be surprised if the next one is the ogre from Abomination, or hell just Omnigul sitting at the Throne (or standing, floating...oh it doesn't even matter).

One of oryx' descendants who was spectacularly and completely overshadowed by crota's accomplishments to the point of being removed from the hive history books. It's also possible that oryx had crota kill nokris so that crota could further define his own reality as son of oryx. Anything beyond a statue to remind them that "only those capable of defining their own existence through sword logic deserve to exist" may of been redundant.

2 RepliesThey most likely represent Ir Anuk, Ir Halak, Crota, and Nokris. Oryx's presumed children. Alternatively, the Nokris statue might represent Alak Hul, the foster son of Oryx, if Nokris is not actually a child of Oryx. But I think the most likely scenario is that having the statues was aesthetically pleasing, and having 4 statues was more so than having 3. I doubt they have any special meaning. #TitanMasterRace
