Snipers: Ok I'll admit snipers are ok but if my scope is literally touching the top of my screen from being shot at then the flinch needs to be nerfed or snipers need to be buffed like really bad.
Primary's: Ok primary's are non existent at this point because if all I'm killed by is a matador 64 then what's the reason in having a primary in the game. I'm killed by a matador 64 so much I've lost count and I'm really getting over this stuff that I'm being sniped from across the map by a shotgun (sarcastically) and if primary's can't compete then seriously I'm going to give up on trying with my primary and just go to a matador 64 cause that's really all everybody can use so buff primary's to compete and nerf matador by little so it's not on top of everybody's list to get.

Countering shotguns is cake but flinching when trying to aggressively snipe is aids bring back the sniper meta

Use No Land Beyond... it compensates for flinch. YouTube it.

2 RepliesCan metador replace the universal remote as a exotic since it's used as a primary

6 RepliesFlinch on sniper rifles is what it is because it made no damn sense that a sniper can sight in on a target, take 2-3 shots from an opponent, reacquire said target, and still lay him down with a sniper round before the opponent can take him out. Snipers are fine where they're at.

6 RepliesI'll gives you some hints on how to counter a shotty user. 1st. Bait them to your ground, don't rush in guns blazing. 2nd. Remember field terrain, corners are probes to make nades even more useful. 3rd. Don't back pedal,it reduces movement speed pretty badly and leaves you unsafe of what's behind you,try jumping to the side or behind more cover. (This is a contradiction to what most say) 4th. Use range to your advantage. Watch how they play, predict the unpredictable. 5th. Alot of players like to run flat footed most games,so watch for those hyped hunters who want to rain from above. Doesn't take long to recognize a play style, simply watch. These tips helped me and a team of blueberries hold a single flag in control today, but we won becuase we didn't back out of fights often enough to not learn how the other team within 5 deaths. I would suggest learning new weapons outside of Hrof pulses, but that leaves you with few autos and a handful of hand cannons. Scouts pretty much get the job done regardless if times right. On a fairer note, you may simply be matched against players who prefer the shotgun play due to the map. Force them into a range fight and you'll be seeing weapon swaps more often mid-game. I've seen a team of full shotgun warriors swap to snipers once 4-5 people on the opposing team wouldn't let them get close. I also play alot of 6v6 when I do play. Control is my preference since this and Rift require very little communication amongst the team itself(of course if they have the common sense to stay grouped for the objectives and watch what others may be attempting). I know how you feel about shotguns right now,but that's probably just becuase pulses became so boring after what,3 days from the massive pool IB had & left them to figure out a new style. I myself have been looking for a good shotgun from strikes packages and oddly, the gunsmith. I never enjoyed running one since close combat requires alot of awareness and more nade spam then I desire after many invective kills later.

It's terrible, everyone knows it's terrible. Just gotta hope bungie exercises common sense for once and makes primaries viable.
