Normal not to get anything good from iron banner?
I've only had destiny a few months and experienced only one iron banner before this one, in November and it dropped quite a few Clever dragons but this time I got fewer of the primary drop and more helmets, marks, motes, strange coin and BLUE droid. Is this normal? I played for hours till it ended and got no weapon drops. Is this how destiny works? Thanks.

1 ReplyYes. You are supposed to make sure you do the worst you possibly can that way the game will start forking over legendaries & exotics. At least that's how PVP seems to work.

I would say there was a little more variety in the drops this time. I got a lot of clever dragons but not much else. This time I got a bit more of a mix. Got 5 damn boots out of the bounties this time. All I wanted was chests :'(

Yeah, it's normal. The drop rates for the two Iron Banners before this last one were ridiculously high. Now they're coming back down to what we've seen in previous years.

Totally RNG. I ranked up two characters. My Titan and warlock. Felt like the drops were better for my warlock. Overall good stuff. I've played every iron banner since launch and have always been pleased. Would like to see more legendary reward drops.

The bounties are good. They will give two weapons and two armour pieces that are banner gear not being sold. End match legendaries tend to drop every few matches and will be what is being sold plus ghosts, artifacts and vanity items. Where those drops fall within that selection is totally up to RNG. Sometimes you will end up with lots of armour, sometimes will be lots of weapons, sometimes it could be very little and sometimes it could be more. RNG is RNG.
