Make the Ldr sniper achetype great again
Bungie the nerf to that archetype damage wasn't needed, super high impact snipers are for PvE and not only that there are only 3 sniper in the archetype that you didn't touch, and there are 6 in the other archetype that you nerfed the damage for also only damage the aim assist is fine where it is and if not still needs nerfing

18 RepliesThe damage nerfs and aim assist nerfs are fine. It's the rest of the nerfs that need to be reverted. No one uses a sniper in 6v6 anymore. Everyone just uses their perfect rolled matador that bungie just hands out, and uses it as a primary. Honestly if they removed every sniper nerf I still don't think the crucible would change from a shotgun meta because of how easy it is to use one as a primary. Before the last sniper nerf the crucible had a mix of shotguns and snipers but now it's so obviously one sided that it amazes me how bungie can even let it go on.

1 ReplyI agree. The damage nerf and scope nerfs need to be reversed. Everything else is fine. After they made that change they made the meta the worse it has ever been imo. Fix snipers, buff primaries and get rid of sbmm and maybe we'll have a fun game again.

I was against the nerf to damage until I learned that high impact snipers are the ones to use for super killing. I actually like that idea. Killing a super shouldn't be as easy as killing a non buffed guardian. The fact that high impact rifles have lower aim assist and require overall better thumb skill seems to be a valid trade off for stopping a super.

Trials sniper is same archetype and does instakill max armor supers. Even sunbreaker.

Make snipers in general great again. High rof snipers need to pick up more shots than the slower rof snipers. The flinch is a little much especially against high caliber round pulse rifles.

5 RepliesI agree. What makes it more baffling is that two snipers in that archetype can still Kill a super in a headshot (winged word and still piercer). Also the longbow needs its ammo stat normalised. Because of its low ammo stat it's now one of the least effective pvp weapons in the game.

3 RepliesMake the ammo similar on all guns in that archetype Why is it that LDR, 1KStare, Stillpiercer, Supremacy all spawn with 12 shots. Longbow and Her Benevolence only spawn with 6. Make longbow and her b have the same ammo as ldr
