Give it a perk that reduces nanite swarm cooldown when damaging MINIONS OF THE DARKNESS. That's fallen, hive, vex, cabal, and taken ONLY. This way it isn't "op" in crucible but more effective in pve.

each nanite does like 2 damage in pvp. In pve, if ur not fighting fallen, the nanites practically tickle enemies. Firefly is far more effective for group damage. For singular damage, why take up an exotic slot when you can use the raid legendary pulse rifle, which is supposed to be almost as good. Its perk gives extra damage on the fourth shot, which basically accounts for the siva swarm. I think that they should increase the damage of the siva swarm in PVE, but then reduce the multiplier against fallen a bit, so that its still very good against fallen, but does more than tickle other types of enemies. Also, the siva cooldown is like 10 seconds now. I think it should be around 8

Bump!

3 RepliesYeah, how about no. It does just fine in pvp, not underwhelming since I see people using the crap out of it.

4 RepliesI've been wrecking face with this gun in PvP get messages all the time complaining how overpowered it is which is crap because it only does 26 per bullet head shot and the swarm on takes away half a sheild. I was surprised it wasn't stronger wish it was but I love it regardless . I'm just worried everyone that can't beat the raid is going to moan to get it nurfed from all the crying I'm getting online.

id agree, i wouldnt want to be over powered but when i spent a day and a half doing the quest i think maybe i should be able to 1 burst kill a lowly dreg in the body, the range on the Siva is really low, and its damage is too. id be in favour of a buff of 2/3% in general and give it the minions of darkness thing to stop crucible tears. honestly i like using the Iron Banner pulse more!

Hmm. I would to have this weapon. Ran the raid before reset, couldn't beat the boss with the group.

1 ReplyI need a warlock and a hunter to do this quest
-
Yes this is true the gun lacks power, all raid weapons like vex and necro should also make a comeback.

1 ReplyIt's by no means op in crucible.

WwwuuuUUUUUHHHH?

The perk on this gun is so unbelievably useless. It's a worse firefly with a cool down, and the nanites can't even kill a thrall. Glad I spent 3 days on getting this hawksaw with a worse firefly.

Edited by ThortheTgod: 10/4/2016 12:11:59 AMHonestly, i feel this weapon is about as good as the Vex during House of wolves. Strong, a cool weapon, pretty damn good perks with great synergy and not being too situational. Easily one of the funnest weapons in this game. (Edit):Besides both perks grant guaranteed siva swarms under specific circumstances. The one being every 10 seconds with the other being every burst after 4 consecutive hits on enemies. Wouldn't want to damage that synergy.

6 RepliesHow hard was this weapon to get? Ive read guides and seems like a lot of work but definitely worth it
-
2 RepliesYou need it to be more effective? Mine wrecks face in pve its an insane gun. To combo of its exotic perk out law and the fire fly madness is insane....i really dont understandnthe bungie moaners ..you litterally are never happy. What is with people these days
-
Sounds like a good idea to me.
-
Totally agree, the weapon is truly exotic, doing what your saying wouldn't make too OP either in PVE.
-
Don't have it yet since my friends are both warlocks xD I've read a lot about it and I say the perk doesn't need a cooldown at all. While it does bring the next enemy halfway down, that's it's exotic perk. The other perk hasn't even proc'd on me yet so I doubt it's even very viable as a PvP perk. <-seems like it kills before doing enough damage for it to do the dot effect.
