[edit] i appreciate the generally positive feedback I've received for my post. I would like to inform the saltier responses towards it that i am aware of the definition of rng, and i was making a joke towards the fact that people who do do (ha doodoo) worse in games always seem to get the better rewards.

1 ReplyBack the night before HoW launched, I was playing salvage to get the new legendaries. On the last game I played, we lost. I went the best on the team and got nothing. The second place guy went negative and got the sniper. The third place guy got a .1 K/D and got both a legendary and a 365 Gjallarhorn. THAT'S Crucible in a nutshell.

3 RepliesOnce had a join in progress on rift so I knew I was already screwed. But this. this was special. Spawn sniped not once but twice. then supered after it changed my spawn. Then spawned in one last time walking out trying to find the spark runner only to get nuked by a back flipping titan scoring on my face. Game ended. I was rewarded nothing.

Plus, it said the guy killed me, but he killed me with misadventure. And the kill log said "The Orwell is Down" like I fell off a cliff. Also, that grenade came out of nowhere, if you check the tracker, there wasn't anyone really around to throw that grenade... But grenades being what they are, it [i]could've[/i] came from nowhere, that's what they do. [/spoiler]

Crucible in a nutshell. Something I used to love even with its odd hiccup that has pretty much become pointless to play unless your happy to put up with a lagging broken game mode. I just can't fathom how people still think it's acceptable

Edited by illestdood: 9/14/2016 2:54:20 PMI actually got top player on the first 2 out of three matches yesterday while doing the daily crucibles and got 2, 1 good one and great Eysaluna as the top scorer as well. The drop rate and items have greatly improved. There were multiple legendaries dropped 4 out of 5 games I had last night.

Yesterday I fly into a freelance 6v6 game that's already started, I get in, instantly team shot, respawn run around for 10 seconds and the match ends I run to the bathroom and come back and see I have a new primary weapon, I figure it's a blue so I go to dismantle and what do you know? An Eyasluna with Sureshot/Rescue Mag/ LitC/Smallbore (not rifled but I won't cry) so yeah I fly into a game go 0-1 was in there for <30 seconds and get a legendary.

3 RepliesI beg to differ - see, I'm not very good at Crucible, but regardless of whether I palce on the top (once in a blue moon) or the bottom of the scoreboard I hardly ever get any rewards I've been grinding PvP for solid three months trying to get an Eyasluna only to get one two days ago, needless to say that it has probably The shaitiest roll there is I usually either get absolutely nothing, sometimes one Coin or Mote and a ton of Rares
