Which faction has the best weapons?
Normally when people debate over the factions, it's about their philosophy. But I want to ask a different question: Which of these 3 factions has the best weapons? Also, out of all the weapons of the faction you choose, which one is your favorite?

New Monarchy has a good roll on the "Ill Will" lately: smallborn, luck in the chamber, high caliber rounds.

FWC Fusion rifle: (good roll): MD-Reflex/Red Dot-ORA2/OEG, Enhanced battery/quickdraw, perfect balance/unflinching, Hidden hand. (Only thing I needed was rangefinder instead of Enhanced battery Charge rate: 16 Impact: 94 (very high) Range: 41 Stability: 81 Reload: 59 Magazine: 6 This got me back to using Fusion rifles after a year long hiatus.

For the last 3 or so weeks of year 2, FWC had a god roll pulse rifle. Its a blast to use. The Villainy: Perks: glass half full, Headseeker, Perfect balance or (skip rounds/Reinforced Barrel), Red Dot-ORS1 or (Focus Lens FLS2/QuickDraw IS.) Rate of Fire: 66 Impact: 14 Range: 44 Stability: 83 (pretty easy to use) Reload: 71 Magazine: 27

Dead orbit has the hung jury, patch A, and decent auto rifle. As a dead orbit supporter, that Vaccancy from FWC man.

Nm righteous Vll is a beast in both game modes i cant put it down and the shotgun is awesome

TAS I find is the next Vision of Confluence and it worked great in Pvp for me

14 RepliesI'll stand up for NM. The Objection IV is arguably one of the best MG's in the game, and the Righteous VII is extremely underrated. I'm not into fusion rifles (aside from QBB), and the other faction weapons don't look terribly appealing. The FWC pulse rifle is on my list to get though. Grinding for a half decent Paleocontact right now :/ can that thing even roll with good perks?

I'm Dead Orbit through and through but New Monarchy has the best weapons overall.

Right now it's New Monarchy. All of their weapons, except maybe the sniper, have great rolls on them for PvE and PvP. DO used to have the best, but that changed with the April update.

13 RepliesThe tough part of a comparison like this is that they don't have all the weapons available so you end up comparing as a whole or between 2 out of 3 factions. So between the weapon types that are shared my rating would be: Auto Rifle: NM (Righteous)> DO (Paleocontact) Hand Cannon: FWC (The Vanity)> NM (Appellant) Pulse Rifle: FWC no contest Scout Rifle: DO no contest Sidearm: NM no contest Sniper Rifle: NM (Antinomy)>DO (Extrasolar) Fusion Rifle: FWC (The Vortex or The Vacancy)>DO (Hitchhiker) Shotgun: DO (Patch A)=NM (Burden of Proof) Machine Gun: NM (Objection)>FWC (The Variable) Rocket Launcher: FWC (The Vertigo)>DO (Ceres) So if I'm just basing a decision on this comparison I would have to say New Monarchy has the best weapons overall.

Dead orbit Y3 weapons look good as hell. Saw BYF get unbroken with a dead orbit auto rifle & shotgun. That shotgun range is no joke.

I like most of the Dead Orbit weapons. Hung Jury is my favourite Year 2 scout, the fusion is nice, and the auto rifles are always some of the best. After Dead Orbit I'd go FWC for the HC and fusion, then New Monarchy as I do not like a single weapon they have ever made.

12 RepliesIt would be really cool to have faction wars. You could only pledge to a certain faction each week like it is now. You have to have all gear and weapons from the faction that you are representing. The matchmaking would pin you against other people that pledge for a different faction. They could post the results here and people can get all salty over which faction is better.

I guess it depends on which weapon types you like to use and so for me it's - DO for their Scout (even though it's a shell of what it once was) and AR - FWC - for their Fusion (both) and their pulse - NW - for their Shotgun, their AR and their MG
