Rapid fire glitch...
Has anyone seen videos of people rapid firing their Hawksaws and Sidearms? It's seriously unacceptable and must be stopped immediately. I haven't played Destiny much this week so thankfully I haven't ran into those rascals but I feel sympathy for those who have. The funny thing is that out of all those videos there's always at least one guy that's in all of them, for obvious reasons I won't say his name but you could do some research yourselves and find out who I'm talking about. Anyway Forum Friends if you see them please report them and have a nice day.

2 RepliesI'll let u guys in on a secret. My Suros-PDX 45 (or in other words better hawksaw) mod is called "Full Auto". Crazy right? It allows me to hold down the trigger n as soon as my last bullet in the pulse is fired it fires another 3! How crazy!

You can buy custom controllers with rapid fire chips built in. No way to stop them as they are in the controller. And can keep getting patches.

The only time I've either heard or seen a gun (Hand Cannon mostly) go ballistic with rapid fire were very rare instances in laggy games a few months ago. Even my own Hand Cannon went ballistic once or twice. But those weren't consistent and by no way really record-able. These accusations that happen over quite a long period of time now can't possibly be from lag. I will say, lag can cause a rapid fire to happen. But it wasn't usable. You couldn't go around shooting people like that because it was just so unpredictable and rare. If you're either being shot at or killed by unconventional rapid fire weapons, it's not going to be from lag.

5 RepliesSo a gentleman messaged me a link to the video (Thanks, Moose) and its pretty obvious the player is using a HACK not a glitch or modded controller. This is outright hacking. A Glitch would imply that ANY of us could do this, we cannot. I have a Modded controller and turbo firing only allows you to shoot as fast as the gun allows, no more than. He's a hacker.

Also to the people saying a modded controller is what he's using, I doubt it. Those only make it so that the instant you can fire the weapon, you will without any delay, just like the full auto perk on guns. So either cheating or lag is the culprit.

The sidearm was on a fast trigger finger. No glitches here. No lag, you say? That's why half the kills took a full second to register? Or why halfway through the video, the recorder clearly gets shot through a wall? Okay... Edit: almost forgot, inb4 ninja edit
