2 RepliesNah. I like there being an actual variety of primary weapons people seek to obtain. They want it because it's neat or good. Not because it does an element. Also they are probably going to keep pattern with another primary exotic weapon that has an element. Probably won't be that great stats or abilities wise, but at least it has an element.

8 RepliesI'd like to see some kind of mechanism for giving any non exotic primary a burn. Personally I'd make it rather difficult to do, so burn primaries would be scarce for at least the first month or two after release

Primary weapons are such a big part of the game. Primaries are weaker than the rest sometimes it makes you rely on that

2 RepliesInstead of making 100 kinetics that are all the same, why not make 3 sets of elemental raid weapons? Slow, mid, and fast ROF for each primary type with set perks but random elemental type. That would give people a reason to play, and provide more variety than this game has seen in a long time. Bungie is just wasting their time making all these kinetics that 4/5 people don't give a shit about. Idk, maybe they took rewards out of the game because it runs smoother with less people playing.

7 RepliesJust an idea what if legendary and exotics didn't have burn but rare primaries did? That way people would go back to use some of the blue weapons which are basically of no use currently.

3 RepliesThis could easily be solved with the artifacts. Have an artifact that gives a primary an element. You would still be giving up a perk and a slot (instead of having the ability to deflect supers or the like) and it lets people customize their loadout still.

I think the reason why they took burns off of primaries is because of that one nightfall modifier that makes the wrong elemental damage on them be resistance Sorry if I made some mistakes in my post I am really tired.
