Congrats Bungie this is your worst month ever
No Trials
No Iron Banner
2/3 of the reasons I play are gone wtf......the bug didn't even affect any other game mode other than Trials why the hell is it canceled?

Edit 2: They did this last month too. Canceled trials because of Heavy ammo glitch, and [i]ALMOST[/i] canceled Iron Banner, we just got it a day late...

22 RepliesI switched from XBOX ONE to PS4 last month, and had to redo all my characters. I don't have friends on my PS4 (yet) so I have no opportunities to do raids or nightfalls and the like to get my new set of guardians up to 335. So this hurts me. I had over 2000 hours on XBOX in this game, Y1 :(

5 RepliesEvidently tripmines and throwing knives were so OP they were holding up the very code upon which matchmaking relies. Glad they made some not asked for changes to a subclass very few of us use and broke the code in the process.

Yeah, they're on a roll for sure. Announce Rise of Iron, and then when interest is peaked, break the game completely.

I'd say the worst month was when sbmm was confirmed after being denied a few times. But that's the worst month for Destiny, Halo was developed by bungie for much longer so I'd be willing to bet there were darker days back then.

1 ReplyI just like to play destiny because it's a game that makes you never fell alone and you can always play with friends. No matter where you go, someone is bound to be there. It's what makes this game, personally, special in many cases and the community is great. I haven't been able to play on destiny in over half a year and I would just LOVE to play anything on it honestly. Look at my profile, I spend lots of time just doing patrols, P.S. Look at my Titan, that was my main.

This while trying to pimp a new DLC in the fall. Their assault on hunters and sunsingers created such a disturbance in the force it broke the game.....

Seems like the more bungie adds the buggier and unstable Destiny becomes. Bungie needs to take the destiny exe and rewrite it to have every single dlc as whole . Like a anniversary no dlc download exe.

I'm not sure the amount of time you've spent on this game qualifies you to make these observations or claims. But hey, welcome to the community. Keep posting, more importantly keep playing. Destiny has always had the ability to have different matchmaking algorithms for different game types. It's not at all surprising that a bug could creep in that affects matchmaking on Trials and IB, but not on regular crucible. That said, it's embarrassing for the team. It sucks. But they're working their hardest to get it fixed for you, because they know how much you were looking forward to IB. There is always a risk that a bug is missed and slips through. Luckily, Bungie has a huge team they employee to respond when these risks materialize. They know they can't 100% guarantee this would never happen. No company can lay claim to that type of guarantee. But the Live team does their best to respond as quickly as possible. They do amazing work, I mean look how many of us from day one are still here playing as much as we are.

It's sad that this is the state the game has dwindled down to. The content of ttk is so trash that the only thing to look forward to and experience something challenging is iron banner and trials.

And it was down right until I had to sleep. Trials canned. Now Iron Banner canceled. What the heck is honestly going on? Will we get these events as soon as you can put them up, or say in IBs case, will we have to wait another month? You can't handle the amount of content you have now. Why should we think you can deal with an expansion and us be able to actually play it? No preorder for me. I'll be waiting long past release to see how bad things are, if not move on. This is more and more ridiculous every day and Bungie does nothing to make up for the complete failure of service. "Read the EULA, you'll play when they let you play" Read my lips, douche, I'll quit far before I let some company that has strayed far far from it's roots dictate my game time. Fix your shit or quit.
