Trials Of Osiris: Shotgun Rushers
So far every match I have played in Trials of Osiris, the whole team has Universal Remote or Invective.
The idiotic part about it is that none of the teams use a strategy. They all just rush to get kills. It is unfair to people who actually have strategies and want to actually win, not just get a cheap win for using brainless techniques.

5 RepliesNot fair? How? Shotgun rushing is just as legitimate a strategy as anything else. Saying it isn't fair is the same as saying zerg rush or gauss rush are not fair(different games but still relevant). Just make a counter strategy instead of expecting other people to play by ur rules.

Maybe you should get good, and figure out a counter. Keep at range and teamshot, and they'll switch quick.

Use a sidearm or fusion to cut down the rushers don't just accept it

You are dumb that is a strategy.. I myself do that exact thing but with snipers.. If you can't win a shotgun battle go outside on black shield.. If you still can't win just camp back honestly stop whining and come up with a strategy yourself instead of moaning

Technically that is a strategy. Not a good one but a strategy none the less.

What's your strategy? Camp with a sniper and not reposition when shotgunners get close enough to make an effective push? You should have changed strategy after one round of being rushed by shotguns...

I did that on blind watch and went 9-0, a guy I played against sent me a message saying that we played like crazy people and he was 8-0 but we stopped him from going 9-0. He then preceded to say he would love to play with us because it looked super fun. Good sport. Fin.

Well, then using shotguns and rushing you is a STRATEGY. Appaarently, according to this guy's logic, if a strategy works better than his, it's unfair.

I prefer play against a shotgun rusher, like this you know they'll come at you with their shotgun and you'll had the time to kill them with your primarie, but a camper sniper it's boring.

You don't have a strategy to deal with rushers.

But why would you let them too close? These rushers are never good with primaries so they try to compensate for that using this technique. A good Pulse Rifle, Auto Rifle or even a Scout stops them easily in their tracks. And even if they do succeed in getting close I just stick them with a fusion grenade even if that is a postmortem kill sometimes.

Using a shotgun to rush the other team is a tactic, a very risky one I might add, but very good if you come against players (like you) that just know how to sit back and snipe and cannot react and adapt them come to the forums crying about it.

It's unfair for you if someone else has faster and better reflexes than you? Someone who can disrupt your mojo for coming in close is unfair? Someone gunned you down with a shotgun when you wanted a camp fest is unfair? You are weak if you can't vs a rusher if your main strat is camping. Ofc they are gonna rush in if you stay on the same spot, they know where you at ffs. And if you see them as brainless techniques then you must mean that they are lazy. Lazy for just rushing in with a shotgun. Yet you die against them. A lazy one. Your strat lost against a lazy one. Which means your strat is below the "lazy" win rate. Your strat sucks in comparison to the lazy one. TL;DR: Rushing is unfair. Being lazy is unfair. OPs strat is worse than the lazy strat and thats unfair.

Holy Bazinga Batman, someone didn't play into YOUR STRATEGY! How dear they not be absolutely predicable? And using a SHOTGUN? What is this damn madness? Freaking shotguns! Oh Hell, i bet some of them used that f-ing blink technique! You should report those cheaters! You're definately right to come on here and let everyone know you're unable to adapt to different play styles. Now everyone knows to place themselves exactly where you want them to stand. Possibly message the opposition during the flight in and say where on the map you'd like to kill them. Or just stick to your original plan. Someone will cooperate eventually. POWER TO THE UNBENDABLE! !!
