Trials Of Osiris: Shotgun Rushers
So far every match I have played in Trials of Osiris, the whole team has Universal Remote or Invective.
The idiotic part about it is that none of the teams use a strategy. They all just rush to get kills. It is unfair to people who actually have strategies and want to actually win, not just get a cheap win for using brainless techniques.

It's only a "cheap win" because you're mad they beat you. If you were a true strategist you would find a way to beat them. It's not like shotguns are hard to counter.

It takes more skill to rush than to camp and snipe. However a good team will always snipe you before you get close

4 RepliesPeople that rush with a shotgun 9/10 have horrible gun skill. My team just went out side and set up shop with snipers. Didn't stand a chance.

Lol shotguns are easy to deal with. If it's a full team of 3 rushers play defensive stay in open areas lol

Against shotgunners your best bet is to have good vertical spacing. If you are a Titan I would use lift with increased height and either a hand cannon with Icarus or a sidearm. Empyrean bellicose or angel of light if you are a warlock also works well. Don't waste your grenades either. They will be much less inclined to play as aggressively if they know you have 1 or 2 Firebolt grenades ready to go. If they rush also try your best to force them through choke points.

1 ReplyFirst everyone was complaining about how Trials have become a snipe fest. Now people complain about players using shotguns. Will this ever stop? Probably not. Well, if rushing - which is sort of a strategy too - works, why shouldn't it be used? It seems to have worked against your team. Which also means your strategy didn't.

Shotgun rush try moving backwards. Even against a good garidon titan shadestep blinker it is hard to close the gap when you increase it. Stay in open space. You say you have strategy and yet struggle to slay. Don't give up when you still color inside the lines

That's all I see in trials, as a matter of fact that's all trials is. You should respect people on this game who actually use their left anolog stick.
