It then comes down to opinion and I can't prove your opinion worn and you can't prove mine wrong ether. DC has these pure and superhero iconic characters whilst Marvel has these corrupted, troubled, and more realistic characters than DC. Both are fantastic.

DC: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Nightwing, Flash, Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Green Lantern. What happened to Booster Gold? Solomon Grundy? Brother Blood? Marvel: Black Widow, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, Captain America, Deadpool, Wolverine, Cyclops. What happened to Rogue? What happened to Spawn? What happened to Zoro?

2 RepliesDC has Batman fanboys, therefore they are objectively worse. Tell a marvel fan who likes Cap, you like Iron man, it's not a big deal Tell a DC fan who likes Batman you like Superman,and they want to freaking argue.

They both have their ups and downs tbh. DC is very unsuccessful in the videogame industry (looking at you Superman, Pre Arkham trilogy Batman, and Aquaman games) DC also has some of the worst continuity issued and lazy writing of all time (Deathstroke's 1001 origin stories, Batman's Family being killed by superman to cause the rivalry) However, DC has darker and much more realistic heroes, and superb villains. Marvel is for the most part brighter, and has so many contradictory universes difficult to follow, but dominate the television, gaming, and movie industries.

5 Repliesthey are equals. You read marvel for the heroes, and DC for the villains. Granted there are outliers in each team there, but in almost any "popular" case, the Villains of DC far outshine the villains of Marvel, and the heroes of marvel far outshine the heroes of DC. You think Marvel would have the guts to fully flesh out Killer croc to make him bring another villain to an AA meeting and be his sponsor? noooope. but they'd certainly give their heroes inner demons that actually impact them in realistic ways (barring super powers) it's a toss up on what you want to read about.
