Ride along in the Dreadnaught!!!
Awesome. Can't wait to see the environment I've already fully exhausted months ago!!!
This is way better than new stuff. Why? Because it's old stuff!!!
Hopefully next stream you can give us a tour of the tower, or show us the Prison of Elders...

1 ReplyPlease do not even turn it on, if they make no money from lack of views it will go away. It's all about the money, you watching the ride along is just like making a micro-micro-transaction. Next ride along will be them eating the lunch all the viewers just paid for.

1 ReplySeriously, I saw that posted, and I was like WTF? Who gives a fluck? I could have sworn they did a "dreadnaught ridealong" a month or so before TTK dropped. Why in all of seven hells would anyone care about it 6 months after the fact? I get that Bungie is holding it's breath right now, waiting to see if the Division is going to be a hit or not. But c'mon whomever at Bungie thought that a "dreadnaught ridealong" would be interesting needs to have their head checked.

15 RepliesAnd people wonder why it's a bad idea to listen to the community. If the ride-along doesn't interest you then don't watch it. End of story. It's to talk about the art and design principles of the area. Not to announce new content or answer questions. Otherwise it'd be called an announcement or a Q&A. Some people enjoy these things and have been asking for a Dreadnought ride-along for months. Personally never watched one before but I have no issue with them doing it for those it does interest. One of the biggest complaints about Bungie was the lack of communication and transparency. This isn't about new content but is about talking and communicating with the community. It's a step in the right direction. If you're so sick of Destiny then go play something else and come back when there is new content. Destiny doesn't have to be the only game you play.

They know what people want but won't address it and by turning people off from watching these things due to irrelevancy, the smaller their audience will be next time. They just don't get business 101 and I don't get it. This isn't their first rodeo. I guess MS was running the business while they focused on the creative with halo.

13 RepliesIf you don't like it, don't watch it. That simple. The purpose is to show off the concept art and how they developed from that. Not feed your constant need for Destiny content. That's what other games are for! Go play Halo, Battlefront, Far Cry, something!! This player base will quit complaining at some point....right?

I like the idea of getting into the minds of the art team, but really? You want to explain things in the dreadnaught, the most boring area in my opinion, in extreme detail? Just a very poor decision. I want this game to have depth! All the live stream did was show how good these guys are at making concept art and environments, but they should not be in charge of the gameplay that goes on within those environments.

3 RepliesThis is how the ride along will go . They will get questioned on trolled on new content . Mods will hide this or try. People will get frustrated and troll or ask more questions cause all the community wanna know is what's next and what fixes. Then forum will be littered with posts tomorrow condemning bungie. Mean while activision will be thinking , why did we invest 500 million in a company that doesn t have a clue. They will also think blizzard could have done better. Which in all fairness they would have done with there eyes closed and one arm. This bungie stunt is pointless and will ,make it harder for them . Mean while deepen the split between them and there disappointed fans and players off destiny that deserve more!
