If the stream had of hinted that there was an abundance of areas and mysteries yet to be discovered on the dreadnaught, it would have been a success. Im sure deej is a good person but he has about as much personality as praedyths skeleton. Poor fella.

And another empty weekly update, with more "we'll tell you later" bullshit. Week after week. Weak.

I wanna know where the so called secret puzzles that give you Exotic chests are that they teased about on all the preview vids of the Dreadnaught. Dude got a Gjallarhorn from a chest on patrol.. Where da hell are those boxes?! lol

The dreadnought was cut from the vanilla game. There is no disputing it. So if you think about it... in about a year and a half and 3 dlcs.... What truly new content is there? You can't say weapons because most are just reskins. You can't say armor because most are reskins as well. So where did that year and a half of time and money go? [spoiler]emotes[/spoiler] And people wonder why destiny has become this slowly sinking ship. I blame Bungie's lack of respect for their customers and player base. Today is a good example of that.

[u][b]So, this is what I got from the stream:-[/b][/u] Apparently the Dreadnaught is a highly explorable, inscrutable loot-filled fortress. I mean, you can run through the whole thing in about 4 minutes, but sure. And can anybody point out where this loot is? I haven't seemed to find it yet. I can get blues or the occasional useless purple from anywhere, why do I need to go patrol the Dreadnaught, exactly? There are no waypoints that let us explore the "boundaries that they've pushed" with regards to map space. I mean, I see one on the minimap, but lets ignore that. They've shown that there's one little hidden path that leads to a dead end or a calcified fragment. Really pushing the boundaries, guys. This is totally an MMO now! I can go anywhere! By the way, why are the explaining everything like this is all brand new? We don't need a guided tour through something that we all guided and toured ourselves through 5 months ago. It's like "Welcome to this new experience that we're trying to show off and advertise as being more than it is" when we all know exactly what it is and that you're full of sh*t? People want new content, loot, upgrades, balance. "But here you go, faithful yet bored Destiny players, we'll give you an introduction to the first mission on the Dreadnaught!" Apparently we can choose to go left or right, depending on where those couple of Taken enemies direct us. We can be tactically intelligent and really decide the path for our characters through this vast space. WHOAAA! They also intended for the Court of Oryx to be this area that brought players together and fought enemies in a way that they had never done before. So for example, killing an exact replica of Crota, identically as we've done dozens of times already, or shooting enemies with guns until they all die and give us blues. Totally riveting, never before seen experiences. During that first mission, player choice is reinforced because we can choose to kill the three nodes in (get this) ANY ORDER WE LIKE! Do I ever feel like I'm in control of my own destiny now! Oh, and shark tooth inspired textures! Hey, it isn't new content, but it is super important information that I've been yearning for! There's some cables hanging in the Dreadnaught that the design team can't explain. "Does it power the main weapon?" "Yes... Maybe..." At the end of the first mission, they let us see our own ship that we've invested time and effort into acquiring for 10 seconds. Hmmm, even though we have to stare at a loading screen, and in most other mission in the game that involve drop offs to an open destination? But sure, super nice touch. Regicide has TWO ULTRA BOSS ENCOUNTERS! "We've never done that before!" You've really outdone yourselves this time, fellas. Destiny feels so much more challenging because on a story mission, I have to kill one more yellow bar. (Trembles) There's some really cool concept art out there. Look at the gold plated staircases and waterfalls flowing upwards! Lets all just stop raiding and trying to increase our power and stare at the waterfalls. I guarantee it'll improve player experience! I bet it looks great on PS3! I feel like the stream was an advertisement to people who haven't played TTK yet. Bungie, this is not a good way to gain rapport with your current veterans - the people who have invested in this game from the start, who buy emotes, dlc, and who want more. Wasn't this supposed to be a new and improved way to communicate future of Destiny? Discussing old stuff shouldn't substitute new discussions about the direction of the game for people who are bored sick and leaving. The casuals who may or may not be here in the future don't matter. Your vets do. They're the people who are already $200 into this game. They're the people you want to satisfy. Not Joe casual gamer who plays Destiny for a few weeks and moves on to other games after forgetting about it completely. There are some die hard Destiny advocates who need more out of their experience. Who deserve more. And finally, Twitch reveals in Year 1 had 300k viewers. Today's had 18k at its peak. GG. Would you stop complaining? They never did one before, so now that their Twitch studio is up they went ahead and did one. They aren't going to show new stuff until they are completely ready to do so.
