Let's say I poll a classroom of 100 students and ask them if they support trump. If I'm honest then I'll poll neutral students who are not sure of who they will vote for.
Now, let's say I purposely poll students that are taking a trump for president class. Odds are that there will be some students who won't vote for trump but are taking the class because it's mandatory or its an easy class to raise their gpa. Obviously poll will reflect that majority of student will support trump.
Now, what if in voting for my favorite candidate Ted Cruz but most students say they are for trump. Well if I mark some students undecided or not voting then it makes it look like Cruz and Trump are dead even
