It's an excuse to force you to buy the next dlc that's what it is, dont buy the dlc you get left behind.

Yeah.. That's how it works man.. You want more stuff you have to pay for it!! Nobody is holding a gun to your head, if you want more you buy the next DLC! We have to support the company making the game.. If it doesn't make money then it will stop, then all your guns will REALLY be obsolete!!

Well the vast majority think the same about their business practices and dropped the game. Mmo? Massive Multiplayer Online, there is nothing massive about destiny except the artificial game time extending rng.
