Which weapon feels just right for you?
Which weapons feels just right for you, and why? I'm talking about ones that you would pick despite other similar weapons having better perks and stats?
For me, I just fell in love with the Stillpiercer. My 1kys has better range and unflinching, but something about the Stillpiercer that appeals to me. That sound-- it's like hitting the sweet spot on a golf swing. The look of the gun and the even the way it occupies my screen when its equipped. The way the snapshot transitions into the scoped view.
Thunderlord is great too. It just...works! It just snaps onto target and causes that extra arc damage. And I never get caught with my pants down running out of ammo in mid volley. What? I still have ammo left? It's like looking at my bank statement and realize I have more money than I'd anticipated. I worked hard, so go buy myself some ice cream thank you very much!

I've got two. My go-to primary in year 1 was Fang if Ir Yut. In many ways VoC was better and Fang had some underwhelming perks but it just felt right to me and I did better with it than comparable weapons. In year 2 it's got to be First Curse. I don't like and never use handcannons because I always feel I kill things quicker with scouts. (Yes even Hawkmoon before its nerf) Maybe it's the high impact but FC just feels good to me and feels like I think hand cannons should. I like Ace of Spades too but ammo constraints make it annoying to use at times. And yes, I had Fatebringer in year 1 and didn't like it.

I'm absolutely hung up on my Epitaph 2261. Still use it. Nothing I've come across, aside from a few random Daito rares from crucible and the OG Calcutta have even compared. It just feels right.

My up for anything i have on 360 and honestly my fwc HC....if it didnt crash the game. Soecial would be preydeth's revenge. Heavy i guess would be thunderlord, havent used in y2 but it was my go to in y1 since just befor tdb

Defiance of Yasmin. It may not be able to res-snipe, but the scope is so amazing and it has great handling. It's one of the few snipers I can consistently get snapshots with.

1 ReplyEvery time I use NLB I just smile, I'm not the best with it, in pvp I'll get rekt from time to time but mainly hold my own. Pve I know there are such better choices, ones that would make my life easier, make the mission go by a lot faster. I love the weapon…the sound the look, hell even the clunky slow as hell bolt action. Every hit blazes the path to our reclamation.

2 RepliesThe mida. To bad it doesn't have very high impact. Great for pvp if you're into that kinda thing. My dream gum would be if mida and hung jury got busy after a long night of drinking and made a few mistakes if ya know what I'm saying..... ya, that would be awesome.

Last word. Fell in love with it when I first saw it back in January 2015. Bought from Xur. It has everything I want in a hand cannon. Heck I even use it in PvE.

Primary weapon probably has to go currently to the pdx fusion or bad juju. However back in the 3 little words, conduit, or vanquisher were my go to guns! Special weapons are for sure side arms, if there's one thing i love more than side arms it's 2 sidearms.
