I'm sick of seeing this

9 times out of 10 this is what happens when you try to check your notifications on the destiny app.
I'm a very important man and my chubby little keyboard warrior fingers type very important things on here Bungie.
Weren't you looking for a crack team of programmers to work solely on your app months ago? What happened? Wouldn't they work for silver or what?
[i]Edit: we're trending. Let's hope Bungie sees this and look into it. Perhaps as quick as within the end of the year! Unless it was one of their stealth nerfs because of all the salt on the forums[/i]
[i]Edit 2: people are reporting slow notification loading times on the website as well. Also weapon swapping is working badly through the app for some.[/i]
[i]Edit 3: Bungie has apparently tweeted or something about this problem and are at least aware.[/i]

I don't get load failure, but it does take forever. Its been getting worse since Bungie all went on their 4 week Xmas holiday. Hopefully will get better again now they're finally back.

I feel like the app is seeing the same drop off in support as the game.

2 RepliesIt's been bad on my phone and PC for weeks now and there are so many posts about it. They finally came on twitter and said they're aware and are working on it. Can't imagine it'd be that hard to fix. But an annoyance it surely is.

1 ReplyI've been having hell with this site for a little while now. Sometimes i'll inspect player's guns/gear and it just won't load or my notification(constantly via phone/chrome/firefox) is VERY slow to load. I have cable 130 down/10 up so my connection isn't the problem. Glad to see it's not just me but would be cool if they actually fixed it.

Sometimes they pop up normally and sometimes i get the unable to load but 80% of the time the load time for notifications is in the minutes now Bungie is the best

Twice when loading the app on my phone it's given me a prompt that said "NOW HIRING" and a link to the application page. I think they're basically admitting defeat and hoping some sage from the community comes along to help them fix the system.
