Probably are the ones that don't play the goddamn objective in control. Seriously. This is why clash is better. Half the morons on my team don't capture a -blam!-ing zone. It's called CONTROL. CONTROL THE -blam!-ING ZONES PLEASE!!
End rant. For now

Zone control takes conscious and constant effort. I'd rather stat whore and camp with my sniper.
-
As long as we have C and B we are fine as C is generally the better side and B is how you win
-
4 RepliesWhat bothers me is teammates trying to capture the 3rd flag (when 2 are already under friendly control), not understanding that (most of the time) it's a mistake to do so.
-
2 RepliesLol it doesn't matter what the match type is this community will complain.
-
3 RepliesIron Banner is s competitive event if your not running with a team of good players your asking for a loss! Just saying
-
6 RepliesPlay with your... -Clan -Friends -Friends's clan mates -collect players from the top of every game on youre team until you have a well orginized group. -try lfg maybe
You know you could just not play the bloody event at all
Mother -blam!-er you have options baby!
-
How about Iron Banner is switched to a mixed 6v6 playlist with control and clash ????........teams would have an even chance since not everyone is good at either mode most of the time it would mix things up !
-
4 RepliesIt's very frustrating that I now have to lfg for groups just to get consecutive wins. Between laggers, teammates who quit and teammates who don't know the point of holding 2 zones. It's so annoying.
-
1 ReplyI remember when nobody played control back in early destiny. Everyone played clash or rumble for lack of a capture the flag game mode, and there was a lot of complaints about control. Then iron banner forced people to play it every month, then forced people to grind it, now people play control.
-
8 RepliesYup, I hate playing this mode solo...
-
They should have taking and holding a zone worth a lot more so that you would loose if you didn't take and hold zones. After all it's called Control.
-
1 ReplyYou people? Ah hell naw!!
-
1 ReplyI find Clash way more enjoyable than Control, if only because Clash minimizes some of the flaws in the game's design, comparative to Control, anyway.
-
1 ReplyThank god it wasn't Clash.
-
6 RepliesI hear ya. My kd isn't that great. But I still capture the control points as much as possible. When the game starts, everyone runs to the closest flag when most of the fire team should be grabbing B or middle flag.
-
-
2 RepliesThis is partially destiny's fault though. They have it weighted so kills are more valuable then flags. There are vidoes where teams did not cap flags and won still. They can fix this by making flags very valuable in the game play.

Edited by THEUNDEAD565: 12/30/2015 4:58:54 PMNo... to an extent. Control is about controlling the zones strategically. If you're unable to take a zone at a certain time, don't fling your useless body at the capture point and create a mound of corpses. Eliminate the threats and take the points when there is minimal risk. You have to remember neutralizing the zone for half a second for them the recapture it gives the enemies even more points. Say you get a single guy (or maybe two) to neutralize the point and half the other team comes, kills them and takes the point back. They just wiped out what small points you gained and added more to the I score.

3 RepliesThe player base's ability to play the objective or not does not directly translate into one game mode being better than the other. Clash IB had a very garbage feel to it, and the spawns were awful, possibly even worse than regular Clash. It's a matter of opinion, like everything else here.
-
1 ReplyThe match is a team effort. Some gamers excel at getting kills and others are successful at knowing when and how to capture zones. I always play the objective in Crucible, having received the Objectively Correct medal 188 times for capturing the most zones.

20 RepliesI've been summoned.

2 RepliesEdited by RGcubed11: 12/30/2015 2:04:33 PMDude clash was campy as duck. Everyone sitting in the back of spawn with snipes. With control I have seen a lot of rushing and holding down of areas which is expected. Love control lots of fun.
-
2 RepliesI wanted control and have ENJOYED playing with randoms and even go on 3-4 match win streaks quite often in control because control allows you to offset really bad players with half the team playing exemplary. Clash more cut throat and unforgiving once the other team gets going. Control allows for swings in momentum. Iron Banner is back in its true great form. Cheers

Bungie changed it to clash because of complaints about people not following the objective. When it was clash, people complained in general, so it was reverted. It's the circle of change.

Sour Diesel needs some Sour Diesel.

I did and I'm happy it's not clash
