There are 3 in Vault 75 Vault 75 is located in the basement of an old school in a town I forget the name of (somewhere north east i think)

Steal them from any brotherhood soldier by pickpocketing

8 RepliesThere is a fusion core in the mole rat den under the Red Rocket if you haven't gotten it yet.

If you can find a good sniper and find a sentry bot, use VATS to try and get its fusion cores (for me at least, there is a chance that when using VATS, there is a chance where you can tag the fusion cores even if they aren't exposed) and use your critical, almost always an instant kill and 2 fusion cores.

1 ReplyI have almost 700 now... I just sell purified water from my settlements.

1 ReplyWell you can find fusion cores in the basement of big buildings. That's where I would look. You can also go to some military bases checkpoints. But you can also buy some from vendors if you're desperate, but they will cost you a lot of caps I think. Or if your lucky enough, you'll find them in random crates. Hope this info helps.

You don't really need power armor for a while:|

6 RepliesEdited by bren12310: 12/28/2015 2:42:32 AMThere was a glitch where you could get unlimited caps so I bought about 400 of them (it's patched) Other than that there's also duplication glitches so I'd recommend trying that Other than that I've only found about 10 or so in the entire commonwealth

If you level up the luck perk to find more ammo. You also find more fusion cores.

1 ReplyEdited by werd5273: 12/28/2015 3:29:27 AMIk a" route" to get a few if your up to dodging mini nukes. #1 in concord their is this club thing, on the Main Street, go into the basement and find one. #2 in a junkyard with the sentry bot, just east of spawn #3 the radio station sati lite just east of the junkyard fight through some guys and go to basement #4 in the back room of the drive in theater, their is one on a shelf #5 and #6 also in with the sentry bot in the junkyard you can activate with a holotape that you find in the bunker their and then tell it to self destruct. #7+ just search in a bunch of raider bases basements and stuff, and you eventually will find a lot, on my main I have over 70.... No caps glitch and I don't really buy them, and if you can get the intelligence perk to make them last longer, don't sprint or use functions that you would think would use more energy.

Edited by JetLagXMN: 12/28/2015 3:38:28 AMFallout4map.com Anytime I go to undiscovered area or building I check this to see there is anything worth looting. You can filter stuff to so you can find other stuff on your own.

I bought one for like a couple hundred caps from Arturo in diamond city. Went out, killed a couple of raiders afterward and looted their hideout. Found 4 in one of their containers.

Probably not a viable solution right now, but vendors do sell them. So there's an infinite supply there, and eventually you'll have more than your suit can count.

I have 123

There's one in a sewer under concord.

You'll find more as you progress. They're actually pretty common. I have 70 something
