(BS means bullshit not body shots. Confusion on that apparently)
Well guess what? That's too high. Why no one can admit that is beyond me. When I'm playing with people in reality half of us admit it "I don't know how I got two headshots there" under heavy fire half the time and just press L2 and R2 quick and get a kill. Hell you can even call it out. Almost feel that your gunna hit some bs quick scope. Because as long as multiple people are near each other in a hallway in this game you're hitting at least one. Most likely both. Ever seen so many triple and double kill feeds with sniper headshots in every other game? No. But even I can do it in this game. Every trials player can admit it while playing and they see some bs snipes whether they or the enemy did it but no one on the forum can admit it.
TL;DR if you're actually a good sniper you would want the aim assist reduced so your skill actually gave you the advantage over shit snipers like me. Cuz right now the entire community thinks they're good at sniping. I would be quite glad if I couldn't snipe against them if it was only the truly skilled snipers but right now I can and that's with little to no regular sniper use
Ps as many have pointed out I'm being lenient it's more like 50 percent bs shots
Edit: this is from the article everyone cites when they're like "do you even know aim assist blah blah" when the guy who wrote it has no coding or anything really but even he explains here that the bullet magnetism is not non existent as most of you claim. The high aim assist give severe slow down and that along with even a little bullet magnetism and large hit boxes which he also cited make it too easy for novice snipers. If you're good at sniping you shouldn't want people like me getting cheap snipe kills off you plain and simple
"Within the video it is explained that there is almost no noticeable difference with and without the perk hidden hand with regards to reticle slowdown (basically with a lower or higher aim assist value). He shows that there IS a noticeable difference in bullet magnetism with an increase in 30-50%, but this is with a very high zoom scope, so the actual difference is like previously mentioned, almost unnoticeable."
