Because they have nothing better to do with their time and the dime stores they all work in will be closed mas day, keeps them off the streets I suppose..... Given their love for DOS attacks and lets remember last years was because they could... you'd hope they are all PC gamers, they're not but it makes them feel special. Getting Fallout 4 for Christmas. Can play without PSN for a few days. Last year it was a big deal because of all the online only games that came out. I don't think it will be as big a deal this year. Lizard Squad are nothing more than a bunch of immature asshats who I want to see caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If I knew any of them personally I'd be turning them in to the authorities.

Most major consoles are purchased on the holidays. It picks such a strain on servers that even the most minor DDOS attack can temporarily shut it down... I'm sure Sony is well protected this year! :)
