Destiny dying is good for gaming. (Challenge mode is a farce)
Imagine if other developers copied their business practices and treat their customers with such contempt after copying bungievisions way's.

53 RepliesDestiny isn't dead or dying. Other companies will copy this business model. A lot of people will be back for the next dlc or destiny 2 or 3 or whatever they will call the new content. If it was dead, no one would be playing and the servers would be off. Also, some people are playing other games that came out recently. It doesn't mean that they will all never be back to destiny. Remember, just because you think, say, write or type something, it doesn't make it right or the truth.

6 RepliesRight now online. I have: 9 friends who have tried SW 4 who have tried BO3 9 who have tried Halo 9 who have tried Destiny. The only game that has players playing right now is Destiny. Does that mean SW, BO3, and Halo are dead? Tell me oh great and knowledgeable one! Please use your indisputable logic to solve this for me.

14 RepliesOnce again, Destiny needs true competition before it can be taken down/die. Once we have an acceptable alternative, we can move on and let the game dwindle. Unfortunately, we don't have another MMO-FPS-style game. Will someone give it a shot at some point? Yeah, Destiny is a "commercial" success. Part of the formula is what is happening now...these forums. THIS is also keeping Destiny alive. Take a quick look at the number of posts/upvotes here. Now go to another AAA game (even a recent one) and see how "well" they are buzzing about that game on their forum. If you wish Destiny to die, you'll have to stop talking about it...period (nothing good, bad, or funny). Dead games don't have people on them talking about how dead they are.

Give back old weapons by choice , if u wanna use it then get materials and upgrade if not then use new ones.. Myself and many played since day 1 and got tons of hours of crazy grind and thats just out the window forgotten. Keep pvp stuff , weapons, bounties, quest etc in lord saladin section , i dont play pvp its not my thing dont force pvp quest on me just let me freely choose what i want. Just put that greed and ego to the side for once and please the loyal and new players... At the end of the day they help u out pay your bills. This new raid has gone so far with people stritcky choosing 310+ players and the new fan base are left out thats phucked up, its worst than Gjallahorn days its disgusting. Trials is a mess and should have dedicated servers just because kids tend to want it their way and just cheat. Destiny changed a lot and gotten really bad, i punched many many hours and now im freaking addicted to fallout 4 and get sick just by thinking of destiny .. I played today since i was off from work and manage to squeeze a lik bit of raid and ughhh it was painful community is disgusting nothing like year 1 raids.

1 ReplyDestiny is a complete joke now. Back before this game was released it was hyped and we were all promised a game with a amazing story but no. What we got was a slap in the face. Bungie and Activision could have made this game amazing and made a much larger profit but no they have to be just like EA with there dlc. All you bungie fanboys need to face the fact that bungie and Activision don't care about you or your experience. They only want your money.

For one thing, this game made a killing for Bungie. There will be copies. Every game slowly dies, but only .001% are as successful as this game has been. So you're simply incorrect. Second, and this is just my opinion, it was worth every penny. I logged a ton of hours having fun with old friends and made new ones. I was never bored. I'll keep logging in for some time to comr.

47 RepliesOnly problem is.. Destiny isn't dying. Destiny has a solid playerbase. Trials and strikes are still running, so is crucible, the tower is always populated. Again, Destiny isn't dying.
