Destiny dying is good for gaming. (Challenge mode is a farce)
Imagine if other developers copied their business practices and treat their customers with such contempt after copying bungievisions way's.

Year one desticle here and I hope you leave but not forever... I have moved on to games like Fallout 4 and BO3. However, in the future I will return to this beautiful 6/10 and I hope you will too.

Nothing in destiny surprises me now. More and more things are becoming like xur. Predictable, reptitive and disappointing.

4 Replieswarpriest dropped me a 320 sniper, a 320 machine gun, a 320 artifact, a 310 artifact, and a monte carlo just on the 1 character i had time to do it on last night, hopefully my other 2 do just as good. challenge mode was certainly not any more challenging than normally running the raid but the prizes made it more worth it for those of us who cant really use anything under 310 anymore. bungie stop dropping me blues from 260's to 290's, if its not at least 310 you can keep it. and give me a damn helmet over 311 already

Why on earth would they be encouraged to make it a challenge??? Especially if they ever visit here... A number have apparently already stopped playing saying its 'dead' (although they love visiting the destiny forum) A load more post constant bitching posts how the hard mode isn't worth doing because the loot system is broken. It's not worth the time. It drops useless stuff. A load more cry nerf or bitch the moment they come up against something they can't blaze through for instant reward Solution: an easily doable (apparently) challenge added to a raid boss that grants 320 loot, the light number that everyone seems to crave considering anything around 310 is constantly labelled pointless. Result: more bitching. Labelled a farce. Yawn.

I'm honestly getting tired of destiny. I haven't played it in weeks. I can seem to find a reason to play it really with these new games that have come out recently. I just don't feel like there's much to do aside from the raid and pvp.

6 Repliesi usually tell people who ask my if they should buy the game i say "the game has wonderful gun feel and complicated raids that give you a challenge including a good challenge in multiplayer, however the bad side to this game is bigger than the good with patches to the game that usually piss you off more than make you feel the game is improving, very repetitive missions, lack luster rewards, terrible community, lack of communication options in game except with people already in your team, lack of story (thou they did improve slightly), dlc that will make you fell you should have waited to get it or not buy it at all, customization is their but is limited with new lvl system, broken promises (don't take bungies word on anything because they will take it back and give you an excuse after breaking it), game is constantly unbalanced and is under constant tweaking so don't expect to keep your favorite gun, rewards that will make you pull your hair out and lots and lots of farming. i could go on and on but i felt this was already long enough. then the person i tell this to usually says "im not getting it"

41 RepliesYou are right it needs to die I played over 3000 hrs in this game and crazy amount of money I have been puttin in this game is ridiculous that why I left it completely now and when I put my $$ on season pass like witcher or fallout I know the content is much bigger than destiny dlc at same price I don't even wanna start about the cut out pieces of content story which was originally a 60 $ from vog to TTK which we (day one player ) paid 120 $!!! THIS GAME IS AS DEAD FOR ME AS MY DEAD GRANDMOTHER

8 RepliesEveryone goes on about how awful bungie are but Destiny is probably the best game released on next gen (bar fallout but it's a different genre) and the amount of game time I've gotten from the base game and the subsequent DLCs make it much better value for money than anything else I've bought. As for your claims that its "dying" I don't know what you're using to support those claims? Every time I go into the tower it's pretty busy.

3 RepliesDestiny is in a dry season, it's no surprise. But it's not dying. If it was dying, TTK would have been a flop, which it definately was not. Remember the dry season over the summer? When everybody thought Destiny was "Dead"? It wasn't then, it isn't now.
