Three of Coins Does not Work Anymore
Since the last patch regarding the Three of Coins I have received, maybe, one exotic engram. I run Heroics regularly and use a Three of Coins before each fight. I use to get one every third or fourth and sometimes every second fight but not any more. Either the Three of Coins needs reworked or removed and just add the exotic to the loot table in heroics. This is taking up a lot of game time farming for currency to but them and you get nothing to show for it. I have been with the gaming community since beta release and have not been more disappointed. Bungie, I have stuck with you like a bad marriage but something's gotta give. You take our money but you don't listen to gamers like me. Give me then loot chance that you claim is there.

It's just RNG dude. I had a dry spell for a week or more and then over the last 2 days I've gotten 4 exotic engram drops.

I've been using 3 of coins in Taken events on various planets and have gotten a lot of exotic engrams from it. As for strikes, it seems to be hit and miss, sometimes you get a lot of good engrams, other times nothing.

It works for me you just need to get your timing right

Instead of using the 3 of coins at the start of the mission, use it right before the boss fight.

Well, grinded for another primary and got my 4th hawkmoon, this is amazing.

Got 4 exotic primary engrams today. 3 310 Suros and a hawkmoon, also 310. Didn't need or want any of them.

I'm getting at least 1 every 5, and I'm only using them on Taken Champions and Daily Heroics.

I got three primary engrams. 2 hawk moons and a Monte Carlo. Smh

Used 5 in 2 different heroic strikes & got nothing. Out of the 15 that were left, I used them from 1-3 for each strike before the boss. Only got 1 special Engram, repeat Telesto.

1 Reply2 engrams earlier today in 5 runs. Perhaps your problem is not killing enough enemies with the three of coins active.

I don't usually have much luck with rng, but today I did my 3 strikes for marks, used a 3oC before each boss and got 2 exotics out of it. I already had one of them, but I can at least tell you it can happen.

I still average 1 exotic from each pack of 5. Dosent seem any different if used the intended way.
