Dear bungie, Remove the three of coins.
I'm going to receive so much hate, but I need to say it.
Dear bungie, the three of coins was a nice idea.. Very generous, trying to give us guardians some lead way.
You gave us a step, yet most of us took a mile! I'm so sick of hearing people joining my party's bragging to there friends about all of the exotic engram's they *[b][i]farmed[/i][/b]* people like that took a generous gift from you and spit in your face while grabbing it from you.
I know 8+ people who have every known year 2 exotic 310 because of this flaw.
You tried to let us keep it, you added a Nerf to the first farm. But people just [u]need[/u] that crutch so they found countless ways to farm.
Newest way involves swapping characters to force drop engram's faster.
Thank you for trying bungie but the community doesn't deserve this responsibility.

4 RepliesThree of coins are EARNED. they aren't passed out free, I don't think morons understand that you're still most of the time spending the same amount of coins it would cost to buy an exotic from xur, except it's rng. I've gotten 13 crests of alpha luphi and countless others dupes at 290... It's not like you're always getting what you want. On the flip side, I deserve these rewards. After all the times of being screwed over by the cryptarch in early year one, and the countless terrible raid and nightfall rewards (one strange coin... Really?) I am getting paid back what k deserve. I've put tons of hours into this game, I deserve to have the best stuff if someone who is a complete noob can get it by luck their first game

Only reason to remove the coins would be for the sake of the nightfall. For the first time I really didn't feel the need to do it. Especially with how bad the rewards I get

But if they removed it, people would have very little chance of getting exotics We all know the nightfall doesn't drop shit, the crucible quest takes about a year and you only have two(maybe three, idk) chances of an exotic

You do not know anyone with all the exotics, there are many that are not even available yet because Bungie is artificially extending gameplay by holding them back. 3. If someone wants to spend all thier strange coins and hours farming to get a few exotics it's thier choice, they payed for the game not you. 4. Someone getting all the currently available exotics has zero effect on your game play.

Well they don't have them all because some haven't been found yet and tbh I couldn't give a toss what some kid got from his "farming" i enjoy using them and it actually makes the strikes worth playing, if you don't like em don't use em and probably get new friends that don't brag if you don't like it.

It's literally just Destiny's version of gambling with in game currency. It's like buying a scratch ticket. The more you buy the more you have a chance to hit. Not a big chance but more than if you didn't at all.

I enjoy 3 of coins. I've never abused it but it adds an extra sense of excitement to strikes now. Am I gonna get an exotic etc? Most of the time I don't but out of the 40 odd coins (at a guess I've used) I've gotten 3 exotic assault rifles and an exotic piece of armour. I'm very happy with it so please don't try and ruin it for others.

5 RepliesIt was a great idea to keep players playing the game. Yes it did need that nerf but now I believe it's pretty balanced. You are in fact just jealous. Keep playing you'll get those exotics as well.
