READ people having warsat troubles
There is an app to download on your smart phone or a website you can visit with your Web browser it's called destinypublicevents.com
Same name for the phone app, your welcome guys :)
Edit: a few people are saying it was innacurate for them. Of course it isn't going to be right 100 percent of the time. It was even wrong for me ONCE. But I GUARANTEE it's more accurate than just randomly wondering around hoping your in the right area at the right time

With this app u want to make sure u are in the area before the timer reaches 0 and wait til -5 minutes before giving up. I have had the event pop getting there after 0 but it's very hit or miss. If you are there before 0 it will pop before -5 most of the time. Like 99%

7 RepliesIs there a quest or grimoire or something g for these? Seen a lot of posts lately about them. I haven't used them since HoW came out but I used events for destiny and destiny public events (that last 1 had ads that pop up) but both worked well for telling you the window an event could spawn. Sometimes nothing happened at all but 99% of the time some public event happened withing the window given.

Everyone knows about the public events app/website. Problem is its not accurate, it can drop anywhere from the 0 - -6 minute mark, and its random as to what actually drops. Best bet is to have 3 people in a voice chat in different areas essentially padding your chances at grabbing one with less of a need to rush from one place to the next.

Keep trying guys. For mars I just kept going between scablands, barrens and the buried city. Eventually the warsat popped in scablands. Took about a half hour for me I think.

I have had this thing guess 4/20+ times when I bothered to ever use it.

I really didn't have a problem doing the warsats. Mars was the only planet where "kill the target " popped up. But warsat came at the next location. Other than that it maybe took 30 minutes

1 ReplyWarsats took us about an hour, we had two people. Events app seems to be a bit broken with the Taken being there and all. I highly recommend you do the warsats as a fireteam. Makes life easier

4 RepliesI've been using this site for almost a year now and it's been a great deal of help however Destiny's decided to troll me and my friends BIG time (yet again), so it took over three hours for the Warsat on Mars to finally drop even so all the events started as per the tracker, all of them were [i]Eliminate the Target [/i]

Some people may not have been around when this first appeared. This tool, it should be said, is an approximation of an event possibly happening, possibly. You should not use it as an accurate timer. The author stated so back when PEs were introduced but it seems many are just finding this. Happy hunting.
