For transmog purposes. The armor will start off with no stats or abilities and when you infuse it will get the exact stats. Infusing an exotic into it would make it an exotic as well.

I would, but shouldn't have to pay for xmog. Same goes for being able to remake my warlock's fugly face (I originally made her on the PS3, where she looked ok). I'll pay glimmer/strange coins for those types of services. I'm ok with ships, shaders, sparrows, emotes, novelty items (like the pumpkin head) and other such things that have no affect on actual gameplay costing silver though.

No thanks

You just... Just stop

1 ReplyBungie fan: "I'm happy to pay extra for items that should have come included with the incomplete and broken original release." Witcher fan: "I'm good. Thanks for all the free DLC."

2 RepliesNo way. Pay to win. Just cosmetics please

6 RepliesEdited by Grimace221: 10/14/2015 12:34:11 PMAbsolutely no! This community had wanted transmog since the beginning, if they tie it to micro transactions that would be the ultimate -blam!- you to the community.
-
NOOOOOOO
-
3 RepliesI'm going to be very blunt.....That's just stupid. Why don't you just were the armor that you were going to infuse?
-
So many ppl are lightly salted about the idea haha.. Little do they know that Destiny is still pretending to be an "mmo" and a big cosmetic part of mmos are things like dying your outfits and transmoging your gear to make your character look the way you want.
-
3 RepliesI would pay to change my characters settings (race, gender etc...) that should be in the game.
-
I am not saying that transmog should not be free, but let's be realistic, it will not happen and the closest we will be to it is through silver. (even then highly doubt it will happen) If we are going to be charged silver for dances, I would prefer to just prefer to change my guardian to be aesthetically pleasing to me.

I've seen many satire posts before. Some good, mostly bad, and some claiming to be satire because they realized they looked stupid. But your's, my good sir, is some of the best I've seen.

No then all the best looking or lore based gear would not be in the game only available in microtransactions. This is the mentality that breaks games using microtransactions. That stuff has to be in game!!!!!!
-
Or better yet, implement a new material that is needed for transmog. 100% cosmetic, more dev support. I'm in.
-
Will pay for that

1 ReplyNo! Cosmetic only, end of!

I'd rather a combination of infusion and this "glass needle" that Xur is supposed to sell, be used to make all gear relevant and rerollable. I'd rather gear stay as it is, with perks as is. I was a huge fan of transmog for a long while... but something about it is Diablo III turned me off to the idea. After a while, being able to swap out armor skins makes the equipment feel.. trivial? I'm not sure that's the right word. But for me it didn't feel right. That doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. I just can't support it right now.

I think that's be cool. But it would all have to be lore friendly. Or maybe they would let you reskin items to skins that you already have? Like the IB stuff or Faction items could be items you could transmog to. But I don't think they should sell skins that you could only get through buying.

8 RepliesThe day this happens is the day i quit. Emotes is one thing but armor or guns is just a no.

Edited by MassiveClingOn: 10/14/2015 12:27:32 PMSome people aren't reading this properly it's only buying an armour item to change your appearance of currently armour to it so for example for crotas end gear then giving it the stats of your current armour so it's the exact same item just looks different This would purely be cosmetic only use your heads people!
-
1 ReplyMaybe but definitely not the exotic idea

2 RepliesTo everyone posting No, make sure you know what Transmogrification means before posting your comments. It just means re-skinning an already existing item.

I got disappointed with this post when I read the title. But then I read the post itself.

Edited by RichyWoo: 10/14/2015 12:14:39 PMI would pay good silver to be able to change the race gender and appearance of my gaurdians. I might even pay a little money for a slick paint job for my sparrow. So long as all micro transactions are cosmetic only and have ZERO effect.on gameplay, I am Good.
