Bungie, wtf is with the 10 marks for materials?
Seriously, farming has become tedious again and I would like a way to either trade or buy materials that doesn't require marks.
Or let us turn our materials in for rep..
I have 600 wormsperm... and you want me to do what with it exactly?
Edit: I understand it's easy to get the marks btw, but only if you want to spend hours in heroic strikes with shit matchmaking teams or pvp.. which I dont mind, but don't play as much as I used to due to work, meaning I put that time into important activities.
Edit: Spend more time people say. What if I only have 3 hours a day due to being a father and working 70 hour weeks.... that time can't just "run patrols" and farm engrams. Raids, night fall, first weekly, farm fragments. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO JUST FARM MATERIAL ....meaning I'm falling behind due to bad game design

i have 600+ of each material and delete stacks daily, now doing the exotic sword quest im stuck with around 200 more from each planet wish we could exchange for weapon parts, i had 4000+ till I learned we could trade for rep now i have 36 weapon parts across 3 characters

They're just rehashing year one activities and calling them new, anyone with half a cell can see this. One step forward, two steps back. This is Bungies cycle now, present a game with glaring mistakes, spend a year fixing those mistakes and masking it as DLC...next year comes...do it all over again. Hate that this is my favorite game lol.

I just have a couple of ghosts that give me mats on Engram pickup in some locations, makes getting them super easy. Almost like the content I run to get the engrams.

3 RepliesWhat are you using materials on? The new gear only takes 15 materials to upgrade. If you just run a couple bounties, they hand you 10 materials just for turning a bounty in. I have been deleting stack after stack ever since HOW dropped. The only thing I have been short on is hadium flakes.

6 RepliesYou can get ghost shells that have relic iron or spirit bloom extractor. So materials is pretty easy just need to level those ghost shells up. (Crucible quartermaster sells them, check it out) The only shell I haven't found yet is a helium fillirment shell.

2 RepliesFarming is a lot easier with the new hunter class. The first unlock on the far right column gives you a radar with a highlight for chests. Pick a spot that you used to farm and grab a ghost that will give you more of a mat when you pick up an engram on that planet. Farming takes half the time now.
