Thorn is for Noobs
Who else can't wait for the Thorn to be nerfed? Destiny pvp is so broken because of people using Thorn errrdaaay 😂 P.S All Exotic Handcannons need Nerfing. 2.0 coming soon, its okay pistol lovers, I used to be one myself (ya'll so mad that they getting nerfed lol)

if your crucible is broken try rebooting your console. if you have the digital version delete and re-download it. if these don't work call Bungie support

according to triplewreck (who has played 2.0) the thorn and tlw are still going to be very strong in PVP. Pulse rifles still strong. Autos are better but didn't see them taking over the meta. So from what I have read in the patch notes and first hand reports by guys like triple the meta will still be hand cannons / pulse rifles. I suspect we will see people start crying about pulse rifles soon.

2 RepliesMe and trials team is giddy that the thorn will soon be taken down a few pegs. We use TLW but use it as it was intended. Me and buddy TLW and sniper and third with typically TLW and shotty for any flank/up close action. The biggest threat us has always been thorn spamming from distance, especially when 2-3 focus their burning herpes at you specifically. I can't wait to see how drastically PVP changes in about a week

I remember when everyone said the dragonsbreath was going to be op. Or that the red death and bad juju would be the most op guns. Or how the the suros/auto rifles were the most hated weapons. You people fall for the dumbest things. It's almost laughable. There will always be an op weapon. It's always the players with poor pvp stats that whine for nerfs.

Red Death is a great countermeasure for Thorn. Two headshots is all that is needed to shut down Thorn users. Man, I've shut down so many people... :)

What about the last word's range? What about Hopscotch Pilgrim's and the messanger's stability? What about the matador, party crasher, and felwinter range? Thorn in weapons 2.0: still a 3 shot kill, stacking DoT will net you more assists, range nerf will compliment shotguns, reduced mag makes it easier to get to final round. Bottom line: thorn will still be good. Get over dying to it.

That being said, it is easily countered with scout rifles. Keep your distance and Thorn is relatively useless.... minus the errant sniper hand gun shot. Edit- when I say overpowered I mean the length of the burn. I think shot wise it is right on the money, just a little to much range.

Whatever patch comes or goes theres always gonna be a weapon like thorn op and why wouldn't people use it it's probably the hardest weapon to get plus why put yourself at a disadvantage

Not really they needed to be separate for scout rifles they where way to similarly as for Thorn being a big issues not really I have not problem beating someone using thorn. However I will still probably use last word and a sniper after the patch its still one of the best anti shotgun guns out there.
