ok, do you watch any sports, hockey, football, F1 etc etc Why do you watch those? you could go play football, you could go to a track day and race cars. The point being just because you can do those doesnt stop you from watching them being played for the entertainment value, which is the same concept for streamers. Sure you can argue you only watch pros play, well same concept can be applied to streamers. Its a different age, people still look at gaming like a dirty hobby whereas its a huge industry and is getting further recognition through esports.
