No no, please tell me how you earned your gally. Im listening..
Can you explain how a gally is earned? Did you put a certain amount of hours into the game that other didn't? Or do you believe rng doesn't exist? Please I need to hear how all the butthurt people earned the gallys, so I too can earn the gally!!!
Update: I do not think the ghorn is earned. I just wanted to hear how people feel they earned a lucky drop. Ghorns for all!!
Update 2: For those who didnt get what i was saying... You can not earn a drop. No matter what gun. You can earn an exotic bounty for sure. If anybody thinks rng is not random, then please share why you think so.

I didnt even buy gjallarhorn. I want to earn it, it will make it more special.

After playing hundreds upon hundreds of hours of destiny, raiding week after week, I finally got my gjallarhorn by killing crota on hard, with a few players new to hard mode. Obviously it took quite awhile and it was a stressful experience, but I'd say I earned the gjallarhorn not only for helping new players in a hard raid but also for having the most kills.

1 ReplyEverything is earned. When you go to work you trade your time for money and therefore earned your money. In destiny you trade your time for loot, therefore I earned my gjallarhorn and so did everyone else whether they got it from xur or rng.

7 RepliesI earned my first gally by killing a [b]LEVEL 2 DREG ON PATROL[/b] as a level 24. I'm the real MVP. It was only my second week playing the game. RNG obviously thought I was more worthy than you scrubs who never got it. RNG IS SKILLED BASED DROPS!! Git gud bitches.

My first came from the Deathsinger on Crota's End, my second came from Atheon himself, my third came from Crota himself. Was about 1,200 hours before my first Gjallarhorn dropped, which was between 4-5 months after day one of playing Destiny.

I earned my ghorn aimlessly shooting into an old cave we all use to know and love. That purple heavy engram blessed me in week two of the game......I remember taking a pic of my tv and posting it to my Instagram lol.

First: VOG exotic chest :) then I got one from deathsingers, one from crota and one from the NF. So , while Gjallarhorn was a lucky drop, I think I deserve it as I was doing the hardest content at the time, rather than people going 9-21 in the crucible and getting it, for example.

If you can't see the deference between grinding, creating 3 characters (i had 4 deleted 1 of my warlocks to do a haunter) doing the same shit over and over and over and over and over and over and over, to get of getgally. Compared to someone that bought it on week 2. Your -blam!-en retarded. Personally i think the sale of gally is a good thing and it was obviously going to happen as its going to nerf and its shit and xur sells shit. At least people will get to use it as it was intended.

I earned it from getting 58 strange coins and buying 3 after having grinded for it to no avail.

Technically You can't really earn an exotic bounty either. You can complete it. But Rng determines which ones you get offered and whether you get one in the first place.
