Personally I have zero tolerance for people cheating. So if a first time offense was punishable by a perma ban I certainly wouldn't shed a tear. But I guess I wouldn't care a first time offense was a temporary ban, Bungie gives them a warning saying "hey do it again and it's a permanent ban" and if they still try to cheat, then give of the perma hammer. That's more than generous enough. There no need to cheat on a game, especially when it's DIRECTLY ruining other customers/players experience.
