This emblem has every high level PVE completion:
- Atheon
- Crota
- Skolas
But not the highest PVP completion??
Little disappointed that it is belittling the PVP accomplishment. Skolas is a pretty hard battle for players who play the game mostly for PVP. Lots of players still haven't killed Skolas or even raided for that matter.
Not trying to start an argument here, but doesn't the Lighthouse seem logical on a completionist checklist?
What are your thoughts on this?
Edit: Or at least completing a trials card with 9 wins
Edit: Apparently, in the words of people who haven't been to the lighthouse, everyone who has been to the lighthouse and plays Trials every week is a lagswitcher and a cheater. It has nothing to do with their skill. It is actually an elaborate scheme by Edward Snowden to keep them out of the Lighthouse.
Edit: Surprisingly unlike most forum posts this has been mostly a good community discussion. I'm changing my opinion based on reasonable people here that the requirement should be 7-9 Trials wins and rank 5 in Iron Banner.
-
Its so easy to get to the lighthouse.
-
1 ReplyTriumph requirement is fine as it is. Bungee isn't going to change it regardless of what's written here.
-
6 RepliesI agree, even though I've never been there. I will get there though. I will. It would weed out a lot of the scrubs and make the emblem mean something.
-
I was suprised at the presence of the Golden chests, but absence of ghosts.
-
That would make sense... If we also had to have flawless raider...
-
After you changed your opinion I can agree with that. I've gone 8-0 and reach rank five in IB everytime it comes around. Getting that 9th win is so up to luck and chance its crazy stupid. We were lucky to make it to 8 but im sure one day I'll make it to 9-0 status. But to have 7-9 wins on a card is reasonable it can be done with little to no practice, all it takes is a good team.
-
1 ReplyRank 5 in iron banner is a better representation. Lets face it, beating VoG, Crota, and PoE on hard isn't really that bad. Flawless is much tougher for most people.
-
Some people don't have a chance if that was a requirement
-
They should also add having all exotics from year one.
-
It should also be an exotic emblem.
-
Yes but most people won't get it cause they're all casual noobs
-
Well the game was supposed do be mostly focused on PvE, so the 100 crucible wins is justified. Also, I believe it's because they put more effort into PvE activities. Raids, PoE, Strikes, ya know. Also, I don't think they wanted to make something that challenges a players abilities in PvP. Everyone has their own way of playing. You are either terrible in PvP, mediocre, or amazing. I mostly think it's because they put more effort into PvE, but I'm just saying.

3 RepliesTrials is -blam!-ing pathetic, thorn and final round. No skill needed. Doesn't deserve to be on there
-
I declare your statement bull shit!
-
Why should it ?
-
1 ReplyEdited by REX2507: 7/11/2015 7:37:52 AMIf you want lighthouse in it then flawless raider would have to be in it also.
-
I agree. Also, they have the lame Skolas completion. Not the difficult PoE one.
-
1 ReplyIt's funny how I (as in me, myself, these eyes in my head) only see people post the same ol' "light house should be a triumph" because they already went. Dafuq? You wanna feel special with the bungie day emblem too? Isn't the exotic emblem enough? Wait, of course not. Because they wouldn't be making post like this if it was. But then the people that disagree with them, they want make fun at them because they haven't been to the lighthouse. Like not everyone have the same skills as you. Not everyone has a good team to go on there with. I for one suck at pvp and don't have a team, but I'm not even gonna try until bungie rebalances these guns. I don't wanna go in there with all these thorns out there.
-
4 RepliesBecause Trials of Thorn is a freaking joke.
-
3 Repliesthen it would make sense to make it a triumph to collect all available exotics right? wrong. let's not be hasty and think of every little accomplishment.
-
I disagree. And I've been to the lighthouse. But let's be honest. There are some people who will just never go to the lighthouse. I'm not the greatest PvP player. I hadn't even touched a FPS PvP for damn near a decade before Destiny and even then I was a month into Destiny before I even touched PvP and I was horrible at first. I'm better now, I struggle with consistency, but recently my KD is higher than 1 more often than not and I'll have matches in the 2-3 range occasionally. But let's face it, it's easier to get the HM raids done than going flawless in trials. Being level 34, all you really need in VoG is 4 players who know what they are doing. Crota now all you really need is 2. That's 2-4 spots respectively where you can be completely carried. Skolas is harder but as long as 2 know what to do, the 3rd can be taken along. I do think that Level 5 IB should be on there, and I also think that 5-9 ToO wins would be cool too. If you really look at it, Flawless in Trials is on level with Flawless Raider (and even that isn't hard anymore, I do flawless Crota runs for my buddies a lot, Platinum trophies abound in my clan, lol) and we don't even get an emblem for that accomplishment.
-
1 ReplyEveryone "can" beat the raids. ToO by design only allows 1/9 of the players to get to the lighthouse.
-
You play Destiny it's unbalanced PvP? God please kys. You can go back to COD now.
-
3 RepliesSo you are saying the 100 crucible wins is easy?
-
9 RepliesThey don't put it because almost everyone with lighthouse used the same thorn and a shotgun or sniper in the back. Requires no skill if everyone does the same thing
-
It's called the treasure room
