Iron Banner- For those missing out
Full of thorn burns to death, the sound of 6v6 hunters and warlocks blinking nonstop, the screams of fellow teammates who are in disbelief of being shotgunned from 5 meters away, and the whistling of rockets as they fly past you and explode killing half your team who cannot escape in the tight corridors of cauldron and asylum.
And of course, playing all day for the fabled radegast, only to watch it go to the player at the bottom of the leaderboard 3 times

just lost 20000-6000 to a 6 man fireteam, i'm not very experienced with lag switching, but they all had green-yellow connections yet half of them were teleporting around my screen and appearing infront of me from nowhere, and it wasn't my end otherwise I would have been seeing hit delays when I was shooting the guys on their team who weren't teleporting all over the place
A titan on their team was 20m away running towards me so I shot him then blinked up waiting for him to come around the corner, and he just appears underneath me, shouldercharges and then appears behind me with a shotgun and kills me. And I just sat there like wtf was that. Tried to record it with my ps capture but I accidentally cancelled it so it only recorded the end screen x-x was going to make a gif of him just appearing

So I kind of want to point out the drop systems flaw. I play several games, try, and come first in many of them in both iron banner and pvp as a whole. I come first on my team multiple times and get nothing with my only rewards up to now being a universal remote. Well, I joined an IB match that was halfway done, went on a small spree in the remaining time, finished bottom 2 and got gjallahorn. GOOD REWARD SYSTEM M8

We can argue if Thorn and Last Word are OP until judgement day. I just know that when over 70%, of people I see in PvP use the same guns, something needs to be done. OP or not, it's ruining the diversity of the game. Exotic HC + High Impact Shotgun = Profit

5 RepliesPretty much a perfect description. You forgot the part where you hit a guy with a rocket/super and he walks away through it and you suddenly fall over dead. Good old IB lag. But seriously, I have never heard so much blinking around the map before one of the games I recently had. It was like a symphony of blink shotgunners non stop.

10 RepliesI've been beating Thorn users with The Last Word all day. It's called cover, use it. As for the Rockets, yeah I agree it gets ridiculous with the small maps, getting those machine gun sprees is a pain.

Yeah the shot gunning from 5 meters away gets old fast. They need to take a hard look at blink too I think it needs a bigger cool down

I've always hated iron banner, and the control game mode in general. Love trials of Osiris, though.

98% of every lobby is running shotguns. About 40% was enough for an ar nerf two times. Fix the -blam!-ing game.

Guilty. Asylum heavy spawns are bad. If Im there to grab the top one, I immediately take 3 steps to the right and fire at the other spawn. Killed 4 that way yesterday. On the flip side, ill either stay in proximity and wait it out on bottom, or drop a bubble on it. It is what it is...

I love IB compared to the crappy ToO but I just use Red Death (and synesthete with high caliber rounds) to counter Thorn users.
