Is anyone's iron banner / destiny servers laggy

I had logon issues last night and noticed a bunch of folks on twitter couldn't access the server. The conspiracy theorist in me is convinced that Bungie is testing their lag correcting stuff by artificially imposing bad server connections. *tightens tin foil hat*

I was just in a game and a warlock was super laggy. Every time I pointed my gun towards him, my gun pointed down.
