So I am disappointed to find out the taken king collection edition owners will have;
Three class specific emotes
Three armour shader
Three EXOTIC CLASS ITEMS with xp bonus
This is only beneficial to new owners like what about us, the loyal day one players? You want us to spend another 79 dollars just to get those exclusive ? That's wrong, I've already spend $89 on the digital guardian edition.
Anyone els thinks that new players shouldn't get exclusives that we can't get ? Like if we indeed wanted those exclusives we'd have to spend another $79, I've never seen such a money whoring company smh.

Now we get to run the Hall of Wisdom, Black Garden, and Dust Palace in reverse!
-
They have to come clear with the "more" the vets are getting, because so far it seems only being a new player is what matters. I already spent too much time and money on this game, and to see it just don't matter because I actually trusted then, unlike the new players, just doesn't seem right.

8 RepliesEdited by gator catz: 6/16/2015 6:43:42 PMWho cares? I'm glad the new players will get an ex buff because they will have to grind 36 levels and three sub-classes on all three characters. While I will only have to grind 2 levels and 1 sub-class on each character. Also don't day one players get stuff too?

A--blam!-ING-GREED!

2 RepliesAt least the exotic class items should be available in the game through some means, like an exotic bounty or something. If they're literally only available to people who buy that 80$ pack, it's like one giant middle finger to the rest of us.
-
Its been 9 months, the taken king looks good, and im sure day ones will get something, maybe not now but we will. And what the getting isn't really that awesome.
-
Businesses exist to make money, I get that. But this is enough bullshit from Activision. It went too far.
-
Well they said day ones get a a harder, emblem, sparrow, and more. If that and more lives up to it then we will be fine, but right now it doesn't look great. We have to wait and learn more before we pass judgement on bungie.

Edited by Bytehoven: 6/17/2015 2:26:14 AMThe dirty part is the realization, TK is just the 2nd $$$ dip into our pockets, and the possibility of $40-60 a quarter for DLC upgrades for the next 10 years seems insane.
-
Emotes? Shaders? -blam!-ing exotic class items? TTK Collectors Edition is OP! Bungie plz nerf!
-
So Day One Ghost Edition owners like myself -- you know, the ones that really supported and helped fill the coffers of Bungivision -- just get ignored and pooped on. Really? Thanks. : (

What a horrible link

I guess the real question at this point is whether or not the year-1 bonus package that we get is worth the extra money ($75 total in my case) vs the standard game price of $60 for the base Taken King - Legendary Edition for new players. And really, that's all up to each player.
-
I'm not even worried about the class items and that shit. I'm worried about the taken King being the same old game with 20 story missions that tell no actual story. bungie usually can't live up to its teasers and this teaser was very disappointing.
-
2 RepliesIs there a digital version of the collectors edition?
-
3 RepliesWe don't need bonus XP cause we will already be almost max level + they said they ate giving all current dlc owners stuff too - I'll post link when I find the official announcement
-
Only thing I care about is class item exotics extra xp how much extra and does the exotic count as the armor slot even more important can you wear it before level 20? Depending on how much xp is given and when you can use it this could be a base leveling or faction leveling machine but if you can't wear it til 20 its probably a bust due to other exotics. unless it does not count as armor then I'll be pissed seeing 3 exotics equipped
-
1 ReplyI don't really think all the extra stuff matters that much.
-
There should be a Collectors Edition option to players who already own all current content. I really want those physical items. I didn't think Activision would show themselves so out in the open like this lol Bungie should add this to their "player feedback" list. They've got until September.
-
We get stuff too. Calm your tits
-
3 RepliesOk so if I buy the collectors edition and I'm a year one player with a character above 30 I will still get the collectors edition stuff plus year 1 player stuff?
-
I think the stuff should be available to those that have ever all the dlc
-
2 RepliesGoogle the Activision bungie destiny contract and read the highlights in wikipedia its not soly on bungie they have to pump money to get paid by Activision still trying to recover their money from Microsoft not allowing multiplatform release of halo which was bungies plan to break away and be able to solo ,which is why ps is also getting exclusive content ( to the best of my knowledge
-
6 RepliesI want the collectors edition content but without the base game and first two expansions. I really want that book.
-
4 RepliesDumbass OP and other idiots. If you want those class items and shit just buy collectors edition again. As long as you idiots have purchased both expansions and have a level 30 character you get the year one shit. So just buy collectors edition redeem your codes and give the other two dlc codes for dark below or house of wolves to a friend and keep taken king. Only shitty part is you have two vanilla destiny games. I myself bought the original collectors edition and will be buying this one too. So stop worrying about not getting the stuff when you can just buy collectors and be done with it and get it all.
