The Taken King HAS Exclusives
Was watching the trailer for the Taken King and at the end the announcer said their will always be more Destiny on Playstation. This includes new strikes, guns, armor, and cosmetics.
This really sucks. I don't want to buy a whole new system just to have the full Destiny expierence. Whether you are on PS4 or XB1 we can all agree that exclusitivity ruins the gaming expierence. I'm still going to get it for my XB1 but I'm just dissapointed that Activision would still do this to loyal fans that make a portion of this community. I would also like to add the reason why this sucks is because they will probably do this down the line in the Destiny franchise. Everytime a new DLC or sequel comes out their will always be more on PS4 and it's annoying that I have to pay 400 dollars for a system that I basically already have except it's name is Xbox One.
You're all so pessimistic, everyone thinks negatively about everyone's opinion.
[b]Also none of you are thinking about the bigger picture. All these exclusive content from the base game + the DLC add up. If you took all the content that was exclusive to only PS it could make its own DLC without a raid. To top this all off what makes you think they won't make exclusives for Destiny 2/3/4? Every year will just be a wait. That sounds like it will be annoying. I refuse to buy a whole other console that costs a ton of money just because of Activisions exclusive paywall. You are all so blind saying "It's only 3 guns and a strike!" Ya but when the Taken King comes out 2 more DLC's will follow until Destiny 2 comes out and they will most likely have exclusives. Then what? We have to wait until Destiny 2 to get all that content? That's stupid. Destiny 1 will be pointless if the 2nd game is already out. We will never experience that content unless you really love the first game compared to the future second Destiny hypothetically speaking.[/b]

Why are you even considering a different console for a game that is the same. If you've never played the game with exclusives, you're not missing out. No one on the Xbox has an advantage with them because they aren't there

All I'm saying is the only money I ever had to shell out for the Halo franchise was a 10$ map pack here and there plus a season pass for halo reach way down the line. Game came complete with a great story and solid multiplayer at no added costs. Destiny could've taken better notes is all I'm saying. I mostly play crucible and vog occasionally to think about the glory the game had when I first completed the vault of glass. I was so excited to see what was next... I've lost that feeling.. I'm sad guardians. Help me?

I play xbox because iv had them since first xbix came out and all my friends play xbox so makes sense I stick with it. Also halo rocks and ps players will never get to experience that

7 RepliesOk destiny may be favoring ps4 but what about cod and Xbox. All the ps4 players are pissed but we get over it. And cod has been around longer. Xbox has been dominating longer and now it's the play stations turn. Destiny is being loyal to Sony for forking over the money for exclusive Xbox didn't so they have to wait. Simple as that it isn't destiny or bungies or activisions fault but Xbox. Blame them.

The exclusives aren't that great There's few of them They literally nullify Xur [i]ever[/i] selling them and the strikes are out of the nightfall/weekly rotation so they fall in to obscurity after you do it once. The strikes are terrible in the first place. ...did we get one with HoW? Honestly... that's how irrelevant they are I honestly don't know if I got a new one after a month. THEY'RE TIMED Stop being negative, when they come instead of seeing 1 new raid exotic you see 6 new exotics to hunt for.

Instead of bickering amongst ourselves, why don't we all collectively rage at Bungie and Activision for locking exclusive content to the full retail version of TTK? You realize that unless you buy the full retail game, there's content that we can't get - Xbox and PS players alike?

1 ReplySeeing as Bungie is funded by A ctivision this argument is null and void, Activision are the core of your problems not Bungie, they already have an exclusive deal with Microsoft for the CoD franchise and have done for years, giving reason to the expansions being released there first, the only reason that this is over the course of years is due to the contract for Destiny 1 is a two year basis, unlike the CoDs released yearly, once Sony receives their TTK, Microsoft will probably receive the extra exclusives they have missed on so far. To all saying that Microsoft made Bungie, [b]Remember that Microsoft also -blam!-ed them in the ass over Halo[/b]

You should read the fine print dude. It probably said "timed" exclusives. Read everything not just what the announcer said.
