ToO, worth it?
So I am typically a single player, PVE straight up. Mostly because none of my friends could stick with Destiny long enough or enjoy it like I do. So I spend a lot of time in LFG places putting teams together, which I have no problem with. HOWEVER, with the competitiveness of ToO I feel like I'd have to be more careful about the teams I join.
Normally, I wouldn't bother (Iron Banner) but the gear and weapons just look too cool to pass up.
So, recommendations? Any groups willing to take me in?

2 RepliesTrials is the most fun I have had in Destiny PvP - hell, even any PvP in ages. It's super rewarding to see those wins stack up, and I like that fact that is isn't every day of the week. I think they really got it right.

1 ReplyEven though it's a scumbag move, use all the OP weapons. I recommend thorn and Felwinter's or a nice sniper. You'll be fine, the people playing are not the best. I got flawless, and while it wasn't easy (harder than beating hard mode raid), it wasn't impossible. I got two etheric light, two pieces of 34 armor, and an elemental primary. Along with two other pieces of armor but they were the level 32 armor that drops randomly. I made out like a bandit, well worth the effort.

I voted absolutely. It's way more un than regular Crucible and you get better loot.

It's honestly the best game mode in the crucible. I haven't had that much fun playing crucible since the beta

4 RepliesNo. If you almost exclusively play PVE, you will be DEMOLISHED in the trials. I went 0-3 (partially my fault, but whatever) and the enemies were all using OP guns, like Thorn, Last Word, and Vex. Didn't even stand a chance.

Yeah to beat the Trials of Exotic Handcannons, you basically need a full team of people with maxed out thorns or last words..........

4 RepliesI quite frankly suck at pvp. But me and my chums got together and had a riot completing the trials. We even got to the mercury social space for 9-0'ing. Tense, but great fun.

I found my third player on the recruitment part of the forum and we got to the lighthouse. Just find people who have a similar KD to you and make sure to talk to them! It's worth getting some of the stuff even if you don't go flawless. I really doubt you would lose 4 games without winning, even if you don't know your team

11 Repliesif your not into lag switching i wouldn't bother. a decent player has a very hard time playing against a bunch of cheats on the other team.
