THE VEX WTF!!!!!!!!
Before patch 1.1.1 the vex was pretty strong, but it had weaknesses which balanced the gun and limited it uses, tlw beat it at super close range, and other weapons could take vex users from a distance, then came the patch and broke it completely, zero range and had no use what ever, it needed a fix, so they have, and now it out guns tlw.......it has a killer range also
tlw...a gun some believe to be op is now getting beaten by vex.
If you haven't tried the vex out since its fix, I suggest you give it a try..........any map....its a beast, not i huge fan of using the vex, but cant see anything matching it at the moment, the vex has returned,
move over thorn, vex is king again

There are so many "OP" weapons that it then makes them balanced. Yes, some guns are better than others but posts like yours would make this game so watered down and boring that I wouldn't want to touch it anymore. Killed by vex? Use a shotgun or sniper to stay out of it's strength zone. Killed by shotgun or thorn? Use a scout rifle or sniper. Killed by a sniper or scout? Use a vex or thorn. And most importantly of all quit crying about this stuff!

1 ReplyVex is one of my favorite guns to use. It's not the most effective in all scenarios but it is one of the most fun. I wouldn't mind seeing it in it's original glory but for now I'm pretty happy with it. It's only drawback is it's wimpy lack of reserve ammo. The thing is a gas hog from hell and chews through it's ammo in minutes. Having a body armor with a fusion rifle ammo perk helps immensely but it still runs out pretty quick. I was beyond happy when I got my first Vex. Then I started using it and had a grin on my face for a week. The Nechro in comparison is an embarassment.

9 RepliesWe should just make a new game type call bitch. Any gun that gets bitched about gets removed from that game mode. That way in a week you scrubs will be punching each other, Until that becomes to op and you just end up waiting 25 mins for the match to end! Enjoy the nerfed version of destiny made just for you.

4 RepliesI can vouch for this post. I benched the vex (the most enemy kills I have with) and started using the Necro for a while. kd hovered around 1.02. Now, I switch back to the vex and kd shoots up to 1.05-06 and i'm having non-negative games match in/match out. Thing is a beast.

In the crucible, the Vex will sometimes act as a regular fusion rifle with limited ammo and slow recharge time.

The vex is a beast with the right perk setup, most people saying it's useless either can't aim or aren't using the right setup for their play style

4 RepliesI've noticed it too. But truth is, its performance at long range is terrible. You can configure the VEX with field scout and the high impact scope to be a beast for close to mid range combat. If you feel the need for that long range, increase stability and "Send It", it kinda helps.

Got the vex earlier tonight leveled it up some and went to PvP got my highest score in control 38 kills and 7400 score. It's amazing.

Yep.....vex is awesome.....but thorn/red death/last word are till pretty damn good. Even in the limited times I've plays crucible ive been wrecked by those three
