I don't get why everybody attacks Christianity
I mean is it just me or does it seem like most people now a days are mainly targeting Christianity. I am not religious so don't think this is a biased thing but it just seems like people are always bashing them I mean at least they aren't cutting people's heads off. People seem to get more offended at the fact that somebody saying they think a certain lifestyle isn't right more than another human being getting his head cut off. Now I'm not the most knowledgeable on this topic but in my opinion it just seems like people sure are giving them a rough time when they really aren't hurting anything. Try ordering a gay wedding cake in Iraq or Iran what do u think they will do in America all they have done is said nicely that they will not serve them are people that thin skinned now I mean if one place won't serve u then go to the next one u don't have to file law suits and this other bullshit over a cake or a t-shirt.

To me the idea of God is foolish, it just so happens that the majority of believers on here are Christians... Who like to challenge atheism. Works for me :L

They try to force their beliefs on you, don't provide evidence for their claims, and state their beliefs as facts. In the real world, they discriminate against gays, other religions, atheists, and anyone who doesn't agree with their 6000 year old book of lies. They are constantly trying to convert others. If christians can learn to leave others alone, then maybe others will leave them alone.

2 RepliesIt's not about religion, it's about people wanting to force others to accept there beliefs or lifestyles as correct. Everyone seems to have forgotten that to have a society based on freedom so religion, speech, etc. That means you must allow others the freedom to believe their way as well. Wether that means refusing to bake a cake for a gay wedding because it's against your religious beliefs or what have you, inflicting your belief on others is an anathema to actual freedom.

But yes Christianity is taking in more heat too. But I think it's because people don't see how the religion could help them anyway, but that is what the current pope is trying to fix.
