Matched DeeJ and his team last night....
DeeJ went 0-29. Maybe now he can see why Thorn/The Last Word are a little too good.
My 3 deaths were actually because towards the end of the game I started to feel a little bad for them...so I let them get easy kills on me. :(

EDIT: DeeJ was using Red Death during our match. After we destroyed him he went to the Tower and pulled out his Last Word. I guess after playing against people who know how to use Thorn/TLW he realized that his Red Death just couldn't compete. Lol!!!

EDIT: Many people are assuming that I'm claiming DeeJ manages Crucible. I think it's obvious by his job title that he simply collects feedback. My point of posting the picture is because I wanted DeeJ to see how OP Thorn and TLW are. When you can't get a single kill in a game because the other team is just 2 shot-ing you with exotic hand cannons...then maybe it would open his eyes. To me, it was a slap in the face so that he can wake up and see how OP these weapons are. And remember, he was using Red Death...a gun that many of you claim to be amazing because it two shots. Well, what happened? It couldn't even get him 1 kill when put up against the exotic hand cannons. There's some feedback for him and for everyone to see. He's experience how OP the exotic hand cannons are...so much so that he went directly to the vault after the game and pulled out his own Last Word. Let's see if he learns to use it and realizes how OP these guns are. We don't need buffs or nerfs. We just need balance.

Do you feel special now? Maybe it wasn't even him playing, and someone else was using his account instead. Even if thats not the case, it still doesn't prove your point. There are ways to counter TLW (considering its range is shit), and many do fine using other weapons. One match doesn't prove your point, sorry.

3 Repliesbro you can't put anybody's score solely on the weapon their using. Especially if it's Red a Death cus a skilled red death user WILL wreck Last Word or Thorn if you're strafing & landing accurate shots. You can only consider those weapons "OP" because all the other weapons in the crucible have over double time to kill since 1.1.1 aside from really any Pulse. They need to buff up autos MAJOR. & give a slight damage buff to Scouts, then shit will be balanced. I personally can't stand having to use TLW or Thorn cus that's the whole team is using. it's frustrating. As long as it's not close quarters maps I can destroy any hand cannon w. Bad JuJu, Red Death, Three Little Words, Praedyths Timepiece, Oversoul Edict, etc...except maybe on Anomaly. In which case I still can't just can't play as aggressively as I'd like. They need to restore the balance prior to the Trials of Osiris...one can only hope they hear us...I personally like their time to kill. Idc who says what, Last Word is not cake to properly use. still kills fast, but if you're ass you're only getting one kill w. One clip. & you'll get wrecked reloading. I do it constantly. Strafe out of their shots & melt them cus they spray & pray. I personally don't do very well w. Last Word unless I practice for a bit first. I'll be pretty butthurt if they nerf more shit. Tired of all the nerfs. It's out of hand. they just needs buff everything up to the similar standards putting the diversity back in crucible!

Back in halo 3 days, when you ran into someone with a flaming head, one of two things were about to happen. 1) you were about to get effing REKT 2) they acted weird, didn't shoot when any reasonable person would, and got a laughably low score. Probably because they were TESTING. I'm thinking you ran into option 2. I don't think your thorn kills made any statement at all because I don't think you ran into a fire team trying to win. Also, NO FRIGGEN NERFS!

Good job, eclipse. However, I like the fact that certain guns are OP. Remember the old mythoclast. It was legendary. Now it's meh. The whole game is turning out the same.

Stop trying to get weapons nerfed douche bag. This holy grail of everything needs to be fair and all weapons must be perfectly balanced is ridiculous. What's next? Gonna go after Gjallarhorn? It's too OP in PVE right? It's not hard to get the Thorn bounty. Do lots of bounties turn a bunch in at the same time and you'll get it. I've discarded that bounty multiple times now since both my 32's have it.

I can easily counter a hand canon with a fusion rifle, I had to start using one since I'm doing the thorn bounty and its not hard to counter hand canons, I can even counter thorn, every once in awhile I'll get kill by the DoT but all these weapons don't see as op as everyone says they are

9 RepliesThey need a [i]massive[/i] range drop off Like after 15 feet or so it drops off exponentially I have both Thorn and TLW and I honestly like to use other weapons but if I do I lose almost every gun fight
