Bungie has been working on this raid for months. Its most likely on the disc you bought since day 1. Also very few people asked for a new game mode and if they did I don't know why they would want that instead of raid when Bungie could just simply finish the raid then release the dlc. Trails is EXACTLY the same as IB except you get kicked out and buy your way in, its nothing new, same with the arena/survival its been done 100s of times by other games. Raiding was the 1 thing that made this game unique if you were a console gamer. Why would Bungie not release a new raid, thats this game has going for it. I never complained about this game until now. Bungie and Activision continue to disappoint.
